Slayer Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Does Woody flirt with young boys using his dry erase board?
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Reali had to get his job some way...
snuffbox Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 I hope my lil pages dont read this thread.
alfdogg Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 More like Kyle Farnsworthless! Â Amiright hi-five, bro
Guest Paul Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Reali had to get his job some way... Leave stat boy out of this. Â Yankees in 4.
cabbageboy Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 I think the Yankees will win this series in 4, but the Farnsworth aspect is worth noting. I don't think he will cost them this series, but it'll happen in the next round against whomever. Â Any team that has both A-Rod and Farnsworth is doomed come playoff time.
Guest Paul Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 A-Rod will be on fire. Â Hopefully they'll be careful with Farnsy.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 If you want a successful A-Rod, try making him happy you ungrateful Yankee fans. Alexander has feelings, you know.
Guest Paul Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Well, that's not directed at me, since I'm an A-Rod supporter. No sense in boo'ing him...it just freaks him out worse. Â At his best, a WS will be won, with his bat.
Guest Princess Leena Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 It wasn't direct at you, Paulie.
dh86 Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Tigers wont be a rollover opponent at all...in some ways im glad we are playing the Yankees instead of the A's...Oakland pitching scare me
Annabelle Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 the tigers are being discarded because they are absolutely awful over the past two months. but they do have the weapons to win. outside of rivera, i have no faith in the yankees pitching. nor do i have any in the tigers. it'll come down to that.
Brett Favre Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Going by what happened during the season, other than the two games Rivera didn't close out, the Yankees won all the games against the Tigers. Neither side has pitching with a clear cut advantage over the other, but the Yankee offense does over the Tiger offense.
Slayer Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 Oakland pitching scare me You are but a simple caveman. You do not understand their pitching ways.
Slayer Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I hope your arm isn't tired from hanging all this time
Annabelle Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Going by what happened during the season, other than the two games Rivera didn't close out, the Yankees won all the games against the Tigers. Neither side has pitching with a clear cut advantage over the other, but the Yankee offense does over the Tiger offense. Â yanks bats have been known to fall asleep around this time of the year. but really, they do have the better offense. but if their pitching stinks, they'll lose.
alfdogg Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I'm pulling for the Tigers. Not because they're playing the Yankees, but because I'm a sucker for the "worst to first" teams. Likewise, the Clippers.
alfdogg Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Hey, they were first in the regular season!
Jorge Gorgeous Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Playing Detroit is way better draw than Oakland or the Twins, I think. Yankees in 3, but what the hell do I know? What the hell does anyone know? Its playoff baseball.
MFer Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Detroit has the arms(as evidenced by their being #1 in team E.R.A.) to beat the Yankees but the D needs to be more consistent and the hitters have to have more patience at the plate especially against somebody like Wang.
The Man in Blak Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 I'll pick and hope for the Yankees in five, just because we'll be subjected to a relentless deluge of articles about A-Rod and Abreu's chokery for six months if they get knocked out in the first round.
Lightning Flik Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 MiB, we'll be subjected to that unless the Yankees win. And frankly, I'd rather enjoy watching the people of New York cry in tears that the Yankees fail again.
Guest Felonies! Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 FARNSWORTH. How many fuckin' times do I have to say it?
Brett Favre Posted October 3, 2006 Report Posted October 3, 2006 Farnsworth is a changed man. He wears glasses now.
