Guest Felonies! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT FOR HOLLYWOOD LEINART HOLLYWOOD LEINART HE'S FROM THE O.C. (please don't call it that) A HOLLYWOOD ENDING! ugh. Oh well. Good run.
snuffbox Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 And what we just saw from Denny Green will be on tv for the next 50 years.
Kinetic Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I don't have cable in my apartment, so I have to pick and choose which MNF games look like they're worth sitting around after hours at work to watch. I didn't think this would be one of those games. Even with a win, Chicago's air of invincibility is gone. They'd better hope they don't have to play on the road in the playoffs. Let me also say that Bruce Gradkowski has a lot more upside than Chris Simms, and that the latter individual's spleen-rupturing ass should leave via free agency at the end of this season. I knew we weren't as bad as the first few weeks made it look. I always had this kind of suspicion that Simms was going to be Shaun King v. 2, and here we are.
The Robfather Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 That Dennis Green meltdown clip is going to be replayed all week long. Classic. PLay calling killed their chances to win this game. If I were a Cards fan, I'd want Dennis Green's head. Felt like I was watching a Haslett coached Saints game.
alfdogg Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Of course, I'd be the one to turn my TV off long enough to do my homework and miss it.
Guest Felonies! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Shut up about the Bucs, this is the Bears' night.
Slayer Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 It's not making the rounds right now, whatever it is
The Niggardly King Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 "ARIZONA'S SO BAD, CLOSE THE ROOF, SALE THE PLACE, LET THE FAMILY OF THE DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR OPEN UP A PIZZA PLACE!" "THIS COULD MAKE MATT LEINART'S CAREER TONIGHT... HE JUST LOOKS SO POISE... THAT QUIET CONFIDENCE... HE'S LIKE ADRIAN GRENIER FROM ENTOURAGE... JUST LOOK AT THAT BEARD!" "You know USC... it's a lot like the NFL." "Yes, he does look like that guy from Entourage... good quiet confidence. "
Guest Felonies! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Snort. ESPN's crew sucks. Photoshop idea: Dennis Green AAAAAAAAAAAAGGG
Slayer Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 ESPN says they're going back to more coverage from the game, including "more from Denny Green", so maybe after this commercial break
The Niggardly King Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 What happened with Dennis Green just now... dear god why did I turn off the tv. How does it rank with Jim Mora, Sr's "PLAYOFFS??!!"
Art Sandusky Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 They'd better not get on him for this. He has every right to be angry at himself, his offensive coordinator, whoever the hell said to run the ball.
The Robfather Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 It's on again. THE BEARS ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!
Slayer Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Hahaha "THEY ARE WHO THEY THOUGHT WE ARE!"
Kinetic Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Is that a picture of a wax replica of Theisman? And ESPN's SNF crew the last few years was worse than this MNF crew. Does anybody have anything positive to say about any crew on any network? I think Joe Buck is a smug cocksucker and Troy Aikman's phrasing bugs the hell out of me.
Art Sandusky Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 RE: "THEY ARE WHO WE THOUGHT THEY WERE!" It's funny when it's true. The Colts will beat the Bears in the Super Bowl.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 "You wanna crown them?!?!? THEN CROWN THEM!"
Guest Felonies! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Oh, he totally has the right to get mad. He wasn't even mad enough, given the circumstances. I'm not mocking him for being mad. Bear (lawl!) in mind, I've been suffering the pain of Dusty Baker shrugging his shoulders after ridiculous losses for the better part of four years. I'd mock him if he did anything less than smack a microphone around.
St. Gabe Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I had the TV turned off once it became 14-0. Shitty Grossman peformance...4 fucking picks?!?!? The D was insane, espn shows Urlacher with 19 tackles. Crazy. I need to see this Denny Green clip
Guest Felonies! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 I can forgive two interceptions, but those fumbles were just shameful.
UZI Suicide Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Unbelievable how some of these coaches pucker their buttholes in tight games and end up just tying the noose around their necks all the tighter. Denny Green looked so uncomfortable with the lead that he couldn't wait to give it up. Matt Leinart is going to be an excellent QB in this league, it's too bad his coach is a retard.
snuffbox Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 "You wanna crown them?!?!? THEN CROWN THEM!" *punches microphone*
Guest Felonies! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Question. Could Denny Green be fired midseason?
Art Sandusky Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 No, Czech. No. Let the adults talk.
Guest Felonies! Posted October 17, 2006 Report Posted October 17, 2006 Well, they've blown two games in horrible fashion and he's been a disappointment thus far, but don't let that stop you from being a fucking dick.
