The Amazing Rando Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Knox should not have taken a kick like that and fallen at such a bizarre angle. he should have done a Flair flop and then rolled out of the ring, at LEAST.
USC Wuz Robbed! Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 I do not see the appeal of CM Punk. Anyone else feel that way? His matches just seem really boring. I guess he's supposed to be working shoot-style or something? I mean this is just lame. He did a 3 bitch slap combo. I'm supposed to be impressed by 2 girlie slaps followed by a spinning girlie slap? WWE makes him boring. *Waits for Hawk34 to write a long post explaining his entire point in ECW.*

Slickster Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 I like how they say WWE Championship World Heavyweight Championship ECW World TITLE. I think the last time WWE referred to "titles" was Alliance-era WCW.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 The Union Vs. The Job Squad
randomguy Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 I would rather not hear from Hawk because honestly we all know exactly what he is going to say, his opinion is boring and his entire gimmick is just pimping ROH/indie guys. This is a guy who thought "I'm CM Punk" (while scowling) was the best promo in WWE in a year. WWE doesn't make Punk's kicks look like crap or make him slap like a little girl do they? Bottom line is that his matches are not enjoyable to watch. I can't say that a single match of his in ECW has been great, good, or even particularly watchable. This is the guy HHH is scared of? Is it his lack of charisma or his boring matches that make HHH shake again?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 How will Test deliver the big boot if it falls off...
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Test needs to learn how to tie his boots.
Ravenbomb Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 RVD's won the right to have a contract created for his title shot. Now he just has to get access to it, via a ladder match. Next week it'll be a pen on a pole match so he can write the date in, followed the week after by a match where he has to win to get a calendar so he can see what date to pick
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Punk's second squash of Credible was quite effective and fun to watch, other than that, I'd hold judgment. I've seen him work 30 minute+ matches live and he's a great worker. He's limited to these 3-5 minute TV bouts.

The match tonight against Striker was the longest match with his opponent getting more-than-usual offense he's had.
razazteca Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Test taking the boring 5 minute restbreak with the waistlock.
randomguy Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 "Hardcore Holly tried to reverse but he was too weak. He's really in trouble - doesn't have his balance." Didn't you hear Tazz explain it? Ha ha this match is horrendous. Edit: These guys are just awful working together. Holly kicked Test in the gut and Test didn't even acknowledge it, then Holly tried to do something after the Alabama slam is avoided but is too weak to get into position or something...horrible horrible match. These two should never be in the ring together again.
razazteca Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Why is this the long match for the week?
cd213 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 "Hardcore Holly tried to reverse but he was too weak. He's really in trouble - doesn't have his balance." Didn't you hear Tazz explain it? Ha ha this match is horrendous. So the idea was to take the last two guys that RVD had good matches against go against each other. We know that neither is a good wrestler, but they had good matches against RVD so it couldn't be RVD that carried them, right?
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Without RVD, Holly and Test drop back to "unwatchable" status.
humongous2002 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Who booked this crap?? Holly has lost every little heat he had from wrestling Rob just by being in this horrendous match.
cd213 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Who booked this crap?? Holly has lost every little heat he had from wrestling Rob just by being in this horrendous match. Russo
MillenniumMan831 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 They didn't even need a match to pull this angle off.

A quick squash might do fine for a guy like Umaga but that isn't exactly Punks thing and it doesn't go with how he looks, let's wait till he gets a few longer matches before we decide he sucks.
razazteca Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 The movie bombed quit advertising it!
humongous2002 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Who booked this crap?? Holly has lost every little heat he had from wrestling Rob just by being in this horrendous match. Russo That bastard!!

MillenniumMan831 Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 "Can he literally climb the ladder and figuratively grab the brass ring?"
randomguy Posted October 25, 2006 Report Posted October 25, 2006 Again I'm not saying Punk sucks, just that his matches do. But I spoke to soon anyway because Test/Holly was a thousand times worse.
