naiwf Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 The Knicks will be perfect this week. They will lose all 4 games by at least double figures.
Ripper Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 The Hawks are the leaders in their division. Yes, I am well aware that it is only 3 games, but I don't get to revel in this very often so leave me the fuck alone.
Rendclaw Posted November 6, 2006 Report Posted November 6, 2006 Its going to be interesting to see if the Pistons get run out of the gym up in SLC yet again, while the Wizards are a good early season test for the Magic. And damn, thats a tough West Coast Swing for the Pistons as well.
Guest NYankees Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 What is the Spurs total Payroll? It is funny to watch them dismantle the Knicks.
teke184 Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Add another 3-0 week for the Hornets... The JailBlazers and the Warriors are the JV teams of the Western Conference.
razazteca Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 What is the Spurs total Payroll? It is funny to watch them dismantle the Knicks. Duncan, Parker, Ginobili, Bowen have long term big money contracts the rest are on short term contracts. Can Isiah Thomas last longer than Don Nelson as coach of the Knicks?

Well Isiah is also the Team President and the GM. Dolan has never heard of seperation of powers.
Guest NYankees Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 The Knicks are on a 20-2 run to make it a 1 point game against the Spurs.
razazteca Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Spurs going to blow the lead in classic popavich fashion.

I get it by giving Thomas all of the executive positions the team can save money in the front office and use it to buy better players!
ANKLELOCK Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Jazz defeat the Pistons to improve to 4-0 and look like the best team in the league thus far. I predicted it and its coming to fruition-we're gonna be awesome.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Clippers win against the Blazers to go to 3-1 Marc Stein sums up my feeling about the Clippers at the moment "More evidence it's a new day in Clipperland: Dunleavy's lads suffered one understandable loss in three games and folks are still asking What's wrong?"
Fökai Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 So Bruce Bowen injuries another player. But no, he can't be dirty, can he? NOOO!! He's just a superb defender who just so happens to use the foot sweep that we all left behind in high school varsity. I suppose he can abandon that and go to the"bring hands underneath the feet of a jump-shooter" to be more blatant.
naiwf Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Who did the "Dirtiest Player in the Game" get this time?
Fökai Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Who did the "Dirtiest Player in the Game" get this time? Francis.
Ripper Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 NOTHING pisses me off more than when he does that and yeah, he has injured another guy. Bowen is the dirtiest player in the NBA since Malone, and his hit list is growing to Karl Levels now.

I suppose he can abandon that and go to the"bring hands underneath the feet of a jump-shooter" to be more blatant. The difference between Bowen, Artest, 'Sheed is the simple fact that you don't see Bowen acting the fool outside the basketball court. The media does not jump on Bowen because he is a rather boring person on camera you won't see him yelling or making stupid comments on TNT or ESPN anytime soon.
Ripper Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 And Sheed and Artest don't purposely hurt people on the the court. They have nothing in common. Ron Artest is mental, Rasheed Wallace is a whiney ass, but at least the don't go out there and try to take out the other teams player.
razazteca Posted November 7, 2006 Report Posted November 7, 2006 Bruce the Bounty, is what he is a defensive player that gets the job done...if a player takes a flop and gets hurt well too bad its not like he is throwing elbows like Kenny Florian. I'll wait to see if the commish gives Bruce Bowen any kind of suspension to determine how dirty of a player he is.
alfdogg Posted November 8, 2006 Author Report Posted November 8, 2006 Pacers with a 15-point lead on the Sixers at the half, with everyone chipping in including Rawle Marshall of all people, with 8 in the second quarter.
Brett Favre Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 You're lucky you have something to watch. There's honestly nothing on.
alfdogg Posted November 8, 2006 Author Report Posted November 8, 2006 Lead up to 21 now on three triples, two from Al and one from Tinsley (!). AI and Jermaine are getting some leeway as far as complaining about calls go, as well, but Carlisle did get a T in the first minute of the half.

I'll wait to see if the commish gives Bruce Bowen any kind of suspension to determine how dirty of a player he is. That comment is beyond idiotic. An elbow might cut you, but you can get some stitches and come back in that same quarter if need be. A broken leg, a fractured/sprained ankle, or ripped up knee ligaments take you out for weeks (or months), and it's SO blatant what Bowen's intent is. You don't flop when you land on someone's foot, and the guy that gets landed on NEVER gets hurt. He may never get suspended, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he is far and away the dirtiest player in the NBA. He tries to take out a guy on an almost nightly basis and succeeds a couple of times a year in doing so. He's a fucking scumbag of the highest order.
razazteca Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 He's a fucking scumbag of the highest order. You will never see him getting busted for starting riots, carrying weapons on planes, getting pulled over for drugs, or setting the record for most technical fouls in a season, or tearing it up in the club in a white t. I find it funny that the dirtiest player in the league plays on the softest team in the league. An elbow might cut you, but you can get some stitches and come back in that same quarter if need be. Didn't Rudy Tomanovich take a vicious elbow from Kermit Washington that still lingers today?
MrRant Posted November 8, 2006 Report Posted November 8, 2006 Fuck, this is the 3rd last minute game the Sonics have lost.
