Ginger Snaps Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Borat must have made a lot of money considering how little it cost to make it.
2GOLD Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Absolutely nothing opened. Stranger than Fiction but I don't think anyone thought that was going to clean up.
bob_barron Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 I bet Borat is happy he will not be execute
LJSexay Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Harsh Times lives up to its name opening weekend.. shame, since it looks like a really good film.
King Kamala Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Harsh Times lives up to its name opening weekend.. shame, since it looks like a really good film. All reviews I read of it made it sound out like it was terrible. The trailers didn't look too promising either. It looks like two hours of Christian Bale and Freddy Rodreiguz sulking and yelling. Does Bale really need the paycheck after The Batman movies?
fazzle Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Borat increasing doesn't really surprise me, considering it basically tripled the amount of theaters it was in. Santa Clause and Flushed Away dropping so little impresses me more.
Youth N Asia Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 The Departed is showing some serious staying power, which is good, cause I really liked it. The only other movie I saw on that list was Saw 3, which was awful.
v.2 Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 What else is opening next weekend beside Bond?
Guest Hotbutter Spoontoaster Posted November 12, 2006 Report Posted November 12, 2006 Let's Go to Prison. Casino Royale. Happy Feet. After Dark's Horror Fest: 8 Films To Die For. Fast Food Nation (limited release). Bobby (limited release). For Your Consideration (limited release). Candy (limited release). Snoop Dogg's Hood of Horror (limited release).

EricMM Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 Jeez, I sure wish any of the theaters in my location were SHOWING Borat, and I didn't have to go two towns over to SEE it...
Black Lushus Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 I almost want to see Harsh Times, but the producers seem like they're trying too hard to create a white version of Alonzo Harris (Training Day).

razazteca Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 THE PASSION of blaming the jews for everything.
Lil' Bitch Posted November 13, 2006 Report Posted November 13, 2006 The irony was that they showed the trailer for Apocalypto before Borat started.
