CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Wow, he's got the first down.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Bogus spot. He didn't make it to the yard line, let alone get to the other side of it. He should have been 2 feet short. EDIT: Good job by the refs getting it right for once. I hate when zebras basically gift someone a yard at a time and give them a first down because it was "close". CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Good reversal by the refs. I didn't think he had the one-yard line either.

Guest Smues Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Great job by the pro-bowler Romo. That was amazing.
The Man in Blak 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Dallas still has all three timeouts left, so it's not a clincher yet. Though if they're going to let Alexander run like that, they might as well just start running back to the locker rooms right now.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Damn, I forgot the Cowboys had all their timeouts left. I had visions of a fumbled handoff in the end zone on that last play.
Guest "Go, Mordecai!" Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Well, that should derail the Romo Express for a little bit.

The Man in Blak 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 And, unless Romo ends up winning this game with a bomb at the end, I would hope that this would end all of the endless babble from the talking heads about how this kid is one of the clutchiest clutchers that ever clutched in this history of sports. CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Bye bye Cowboys. At least you covered the spread for me. Awww, Romo was crying on the field. Reminds me of Adam Morrison last year.
naiwf 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 All those prayers to Saint Romo went unanswered and I'm LOVING it. I fully expect my team to get thumped tomorrow, but at least they lasted a day longer than the 'Boys. Tom Brady he ain't.

Boon 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 God, I hope tomorrow has some better games. Today's were just sloppy, shitty displays by all four teams.
2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 They might want to get some gloves or stick em or something for Romo's fumble problems. I'd feel bad for him if the media didn't make me hate him with the non-stop over the top hype of his greatness.
CanadianChris 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 And that's the ballgame. The post-game hatchet job from Terrell Owens should be fantastic. Oh, I can't wait. He's going to throw Romo under the bus and run him over with it three or four times.

2GOLD 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 You just know Parcells was thinking, "Christ, another game coming down to a kicker." Then he watches as Romo fumbles the snap and makes him never trust a quarterback not named Simms as long as he lives. If Bill comes back, maybe Dallas should trade Romo for Chris Simms. Then Bill can feel safe and secure.
TheDevilAndGodAreRagingInsideMe 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Aren't more often these days the punters are doing double duty as the placeholders? I assumed it's because the kickers and punters practice together anyway, and the kickers build up some kind of trust with the punter/holder, kinda like a personal catcher. naiwf 0 Report post Posted January 7, 2007 Parcells killing Romo and then retiring later in the week will be awesome too.

I assumed it's because the kickers and punters practice together anyway, and the kickers build up some kind of trust with the punter/holder, kinda like a personal catcher. Ironically, they probably had Romo in there because he had all of the pre-season and early season experience as the place kick holder, while Bledsoe was still starting. If there was any "personal catcher" for the kicking on that team, it was probably Tony Romo.
