All day there have been reports about mysterious packages being found in Boston, thinking it was terrorism and so on. Earlier today they were making a big deal out of one of the packages containing a picture of the guy who was behind this flipping authorities off. CNN was hyping the story all day long when I was trying to study at the Coffee Shop at school. I figured it was nothing but they have to be on the safe side. Then I find out it was ATHF. The first device was found under Interstate 93, and the state police bomb squad was called and detonated the package in Sullivan Square just before 10 a.m. "Detonated the package"? Apparently these devices looked so much like bombs that they shut down the entire city of Boston yesterday after they were found in various locations throughout the city. The two who placed the devices are being charged with attempting to cause a panic and the mayor is talking about prison sentences of > 20 years. Oddly enough the same thing was done in various cities in that past couple weeks and none of those cities went crazy with fears of terrorism. CNN and the other networks shouldn't have gone berzerk with the story, either. They should be the ones blamed for causing a panic.
