Failed Bridge Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 The Celtics have a chance at a win this week!
Just John Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Rockets have a lot of games this week. I'm hoping they can win 4.
Ripper Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Going to the Hawks suns game tonight. I enjoyed the Hawks/Rockets from the other night and while I would love for the Hawks to win(While I am a phoenix fan first and foremost, they need it more) Nash is playing this time and it could be rough.
naiwf Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 The officiating in Chicago/Detroit was awful. The refs handed that one to the Pistons.
mike546 Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 This whole win then lose then win then lose then win then lose thing with the Knicks is getting pretty fucking ridiculous.
Brett Favre Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 The Knicks disappointed me tonight. But Zeke fucking blew it tonight. How do you not play the guy who helped you get that 11 point lead in the whole fucking 2nd half (Renaldo Balkman)? Why doesn't Cato play? And now we see how crucial David Lee is to this team in terms of rebounding and finishing around the rim. This team is a medicore rebounding team without him, and the best rebounding team in the league with him.
Precious Roy Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 Why do we ALWAYS lose to New Jersey?!?!?
Ripper Posted February 26, 2007 Report Posted February 26, 2007 The Knicks losing and winning isn't ridiculous. With their age, they are a .500 team. Just like alot of other rebuilding teams. The Hawks are a .500 team, so I don't get bent out of shape when they win one and lose one.

Guest Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I really hope Utah gets hot to take the 3rd spot. Oh man, I'd love to play them in the first round.
Star Ocean 3 Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Shaun Livingston took a sick fall, his leg is really screwed up...that was like a Sid-level bad fall.
Cheech Tremendous Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I really hope Utah gets hot to take the 3rd spot. Oh man, I'd love to play them in the first round. I'm fairly sure the Jazz would eat the Lakers for lunch. In fact, I don't think that the Lakers can hang with any of the top 5 teams in the west.
Guest Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Phil owns the Jazz. They tried that physical shit tonight with Kobe and got ate up at the line and by Odom. I'd rather play the Jazz than any of the other playoff contenders. Even Golden State.
Just John Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Even without T-Mac and Yao, I'm not sure the Rockets should be dropping home games to the Celtics... To add my two cents on the Jazz, I think their playoff chances are slim with the way they play defense. All the fouls you can get away with in the regular season against bottom-feeders will get whistled against playoff superstars. Guys like Kobe, T-Mac, etc. could wind up shooting 20 FT's a game against the Jazz in the playoffs. I still think they would beat the Lakers, but it wouldn't be a run over, and there would be some bitching about the refs.
Kurt Angle Mark Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Shaun Livingston took a sick fall, his leg is really screwed up...that was like a Sid-level bad fall. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-pk7_-FIlTw Just terrible
Just John Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Dislocated knee for Livingston. Bad news for the Clippers.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Holy Fuck! That looked sick. Well there's our generation's Theisman.
Just John Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Well there's our generation's Theisman. No way. The Livingston injury looked bad, but not that bad, and it shouldn't end his career. I think the worst leg injury from our generation that I've seen is the Garrison Hearst 180-degree ankle twist that kept him out for two years.
naiwf Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Apparently Jamal Crawford has a stress fracture in his ankle and may need to have season ending surgery.
Failed Bridge Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 I think the worst leg injury from our generation that I've seen is the Garrison Hearst 180-degree ankle twist that kept him out for two years. I think the McGahee injury was the worst I've seen. Looked like his knee was shot into the back of his leg on slow-mo.
naiwf Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 MRI shows PG Livingston tore several major knee ligaments Feb. 27, 2007 CBS SportsLine.com wire reports LOS ANGELES -- Clippers point guard Shaun Livingston tore major ligaments in his left knee while driving to the basket against Charlotte, the team said Tuesday. Livingston had an MRI exam which revealed tears in the anterior cruciate ligament, posterior cruciate ligament, medial collateral ligament and lateral meniscus. He also dislocated his patella, in addition to the previously diagnosed dislocation of his tibia-femoral. Livingston was driving to the basket on a fast break, went up for a layup, and his left knee contorted as he collapsed in pain Monday night. A team doctor had to pop his knee back into place to alleviate the pain. Livingston, a three-year veteran who was drafted by the Clippers out of high school, has been hampered by injuries and has yet to play a full season in the NBA. He sat out two games in January with a sprained right ankle. He missed 39 games during his rookie season because of a dislocated right knee, and another 12 that season because of torn cartilage in his right shoulder. Last season he sat out the first 21 games with a stress reaction in his lower back. Livingston, who has been sharing point guard duties with Sam Cassell, was averaging 9.5 points and 5.2 assists. AP NEWS The Associated Press News Service I doubt he'll ever be the same again. He was already injury prone, but a completely blown out knee doesn't bode well for a guy with that kind of frame. It's a shame because he had a lot of potential.
Guest Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I bet they wish they traded him for Iverson. The only reason his career isn't dust is because of the position he plays.
Ripper Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I have heard numerous people say that the injury happened because he was so skinney. Yeah. He should have hit the weight room and bulked up his ligaments. Honestly though this might not be THAT bad of injury depending on how bad the tears were. Like if he has a bunch of partials he might be okay. If those are complete tears on ALL his knee ligiments...ugh.
Guest Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 I just remembered that I traded Livingston, Diaw, and Villanueva for Marbury, Artest and Luke in the TSM league. I probably won that deal, considering I was going to keep Livingston.
SteakGrowsOnUecker Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 You win it. But I have taken comfort in replacing him with Damon Stoudamire. No, really.
Guest Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 The main sticking point in the deal was Artest. I'm going to keep him.
SteakGrowsOnUecker Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 He's all yours. My team was going nowhere with or without him.
