Downhome 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 A lot of people rag about Cena and Edge working each other so often, but I actually enjoy since it gives an old time vibe of an never ending rivalry. I pretty much always enjoy their matches as well. It seems so much that people are working with so many different people that we hardly get one of those extended rivalries anymore. I'm all for Cena/Edge being connected from here on out, much like Rocky/Austin. Orton's basically left with nothing unless he jumps to ECW and joins the New Breed killing months of build. Hence, Orton will be in the MitB. This will be a double finish. Just to be on the safe side. Or Khali can come out. That would work too. Is Khali like the "deus ex machina" for pointless skits and matches? Then as the time passes, he gets more paranoid that he won't live up to that promise and starts begging to get a qualifier but acting all subtle about it. Leading to him cheating like crazy in the last chance battle royal. If anything, I'd have WGTT win the titles from a distracted Cena/HBK and set up a WGTT/Carlito and Flair match at Mania but that won't happen. Anyways, I still see Carlito and Flair winning the battle royal. They celebrate in the back, Flair sneaks a quick kiss to Torrie and that sets Carlito off and he finally turns full heel. Exslade ZX 0 Report post Posted March 6, 2007 I still don't see why they're cramming some of the greatest "Young" superstars, all into this one match. That's so fucking stupid. I'd much rather see, say Carlito & Flair in the MITB if they want to do the 8 man, and Orton vs Edge, which I thought could have been a great WM upper-mid type match. Then you're wasting BOTH Hardy's when you know there's no way in hell they're going to win. They could have had a great WM built match with MNM, who have been shafted once again from their Wrestlemania spots. (Nitro still has a chance though). There's just so much better they could be doing with some of these gusy. And the only people I think really should be in, or at least one's that months ago I would have said should have been in are Kennedy (to win) and Punk, just to give him a WM match. Khali attacked Kane in his MITB qualifer against Booker. Why he did so; whether because the King paid him or simply because Khali wanted competition, was never explained.
