You'd be surprised how many high school students even have protection on their person or within quick access, and how many teachers or staff know of it but allow it because the students are trusted. The guy himself has said that he's not the shooter and now seems to want to share his story via the news channels. I bet he will be on CNN sometime soon. I believe I read that's not him, either it was mistaken identity or a pretty pathetic hoax by someone knowing him or knowing of him. If I'm not mistaken any number of e-tards found the dude's profiles, posted them to various boards (probably 4chan, SomethingAwful, and a few others, judging from some of the types that commented), it spread, and soon after that the hits and comments rose as he was labeled the shooter by some. He posted a graph detailing the rise and said he regretted not getting an ad revenue thing sooner with which he would donate the proceeds from the hits to charity, then pulled the entry. Later on after things picked up he came clean that he wasn't the guy, it was posted on Drudge, then the 'hoax' hit CNN with Geraldo apparently calling for his head. You probably have the slanted eyes, etc. If he was Muslim/Arab they would have said so. I mean, it's possible that he was a Indonisian muslim, just not very likely... Unlikely to say the least. Some of you assholes seem to be forgetting that the white guy who blew himself up outside the Oklahoma U football stadium a few years back turned out to be a recent Islamic convert. He wasn't exactly a stereotypical Muslim and it took some digging to prove that he was one. 2. THIS guy just appears to be a batshit-crazy Korean guy, but the lack of an immediate ID on the shooter and a code-word of "Asian" has been a press trademark in the past when it comes to arrests of "militants", which turn out to be Middle-Eastern Islamists from areas like Saudi Arabia or Pakistan. A lack of immediate ID shouldn't be surprising in hindsight, though, considering that the V-Tech administration seemed very hesitant to say something that wasn't total CYA after the initial dorm shootings. And the doctor said that he didn't see anyone with less than 3 bullets in them? From one freakin guy? Listen, i am not like alot of people that think they can go all Bauer on people with guns because its not realistic and you are going to die. Most times I say get the fuck out of there and run, but dude. The dude has a 10 shot .22 and a 17 shot glock. And was shooting people multiple times. Its not like he could really reload one while shooting the other. Eventually you have to see this asshole is hell bent on killing everyone in there and either rush him or just fake dead. There comes a point when wait in see has to go out the window here. Funny thing too, the headlines in local papers :Shooter is Korean... Thats it. Like that is the important detail. So at what point does it seem like a good idea to stop lying down or being up against a wall when a psycho is walking in shooting people doing that. Once again, not saying I am Mr. Hero or something. My first option would be to run, second would be to lay down, third would be to fake dead. But if I see none of that shit is going to work...its time to gather the troops and go at the guy and hope for the best.
