Bored Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 If the Warriors can't get this down manageable deficit by halftime they might just want wave the white flag in the 2nd half and get some of the starters rested for Game 6, especially Baron.
Guest Richard McBeef Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 If they're within 10, that's still striking distance.
Brett Favre Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 This has the makings of that game where Dallas was up by like 20 on SA and San Antonio came back to win with some Kerr 3s. The Warriors just need to keep it within 10, as Czech mentioned, because they're capable of scoring quickly in a few minutes.
Ripper Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 This is the real Dirk Nowitzki and these are the real Dallas Mavericks. Golden State doesn't have the talent to match up with them when they're on their A game. Â Â ... Â Seriously. They have beaten 8 out of the last 9 times that they have played. When will people just admit that Golden State, in this matchup, is the better team.

When will people just admit that Golden State, in this matchup, is the better team. Â If they win one more, I'll be glad to do just that. Don't think it's going to happen though. Dirk's clutch when his back's against the wall.
alfdogg Posted May 2, 2007 Author Report Posted May 2, 2007 Well, Terry probably just iced this series for the Warriors, surely that'll be a suspension. What a little bitch.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 It's a one point game, and Jason Terry apparently went for an STO.
bobobrazil1984 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 that was a real bitch move by Jason Terry
Open the Muggy Gate Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 What did I miss from Terry? Â Terry pushed down a Warrior when he went to go get the ball out of bounds.
The Electrifyer Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Man this season and playoffs has to have had the most travelling on open fast break opportunities I have ever seen.
bobobrazil1984 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 it was a very strange push too, because he sorta pushed him down veritcally with two hands on his upper shoulders.
Bored Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 If I'm the Mavericks I make sure Josh Howard takes at least 10 shots in the 4th quarter after shooting none in Game 4. It seems like he hasn't missed one of those midrange jumpers the entire series.
bobobrazil1984 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 why isn't baron davis taking every damn shot? He can't miss out there.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 they just got Josh Howard with 5 fouls. This is gonna be interesting. TAKE A SHOT DIRK
Danville_Wrestling Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 I'll give it to Golden State, these guys NEVER go away and give up. Two back to back threes to just take the life out of the Dallas crowd.
bobobrazil1984 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Wow, where did Dirk get his invisibility cloak from? I want one! Â 4 minutes left in the most important game of the season, and he's only taken TWO SHOTS IN THE WHOLE HALF!
The Electrifyer Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 J-Rich just hit a three to put GS up 109-103. I'm gonna say it: Dallas is done. Golden State goes to the next round and as a result, the San Antonio Spurs have are going to the Finals.
Danville_Wrestling Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Baron Davis is THE MAN! Â And now Dirk finally shows his face. Gonna be a hell of a three minutes.
Vern Gagne Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Would Golden State play the Utah/Houston winner?
Adam Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Back to back threes by J-Rich and Baron. Just another few nails....
bobobrazil1984 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Dirk FINALLY decided to show up. Wow what a finish.
Danville_Wrestling Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Would Golden State play the Utah/Houston winner? Â Yes. Â I think Dallas can still win this thing. This next possession for Golden State coming out of the timeout is VERY important. They need to get this lead to five points ASAP because they don't want Dallas to be driving to the lane and getting to the line because they are at home.
Bored Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Damn when Baron hit that insane three I thought that was the game. This is going to be a tense final two minutes.
Adam Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 ooh, and Dirk hits back to back treys to bring it back to three points. Amazing. There might be some life in the Mavs yet.
Open the Muggy Gate Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 This series IS basketball. So much fun.
Danville_Wrestling Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 Told ya about the drive down the lane but thankfully for Golden State that free throw didn't fall. Golden State still needs to get a bucket. They are killing clock with no beneficial baskets.
bobobrazil1984 Posted May 2, 2007 Report Posted May 2, 2007 wow Golden State is doing everything they can to choke this victory away. what a horrible shot by jackson.
