MrRant Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 55-50 is bullshit going into the 4th. And they have the nerve to play "Life in The Fast Lane" when there is a score like that.
Black Lushus Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 this is so bad even the Nets think it sucks.
Brett Favre Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Even Mike Fratello threw up in his mouth.
MrRant Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Christ. Â Â DRIVE THE FUCKING BALL CLEVELAND.
Black Lushus Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 good lord, John Starks must have taught these guys how to shoot 3s in the clutch. Â (yes, I hold a grudge about that, dammit! In case you couldn't tell)
C Dubya 04 Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 this is so bad even the Nets think it sucks. Â Hey... Â What am I, your test audience??
bobobrazil1984 Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 hey you guys are the ones who didn't want Detroit-San Antonio. I'da guaranteed at least a 6 game series with at least 2 being close. I'da picked Spurs in 6 if that had happened though.
Black Lushus Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 this is so bad even the Nets think it sucks. Â Hey... Â What am I, your test audience?? Â doh! I forgot you posted here too! Â metro, I, for the record, am eating crow right now...
C Dubya 04 Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 This might be the worst championship game I've ever seen. In any sport.

Black Lushus Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 This might be the worst championship game I've ever seen. In any sport. Â quite a few Superbowls say hello.

MrRant Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 You remember how Chekov felt when they inserted that earwig thing into his ear during ST II: Wrath of Khan? That is about how painful this game is.
MrRant Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Yeah, don't call a timeout and setup a play. Â Good one.
C Dubya 04 Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 FUCKING STEP UP LEBRON. STOP PASSING TO SIDESHOW BOB WITH THE FUCKING GAME ON THE LINE.
Precious Roy Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 WTF @ Varejao thinking he was Tim Duncan all of a sudden
Brett Favre Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I'd sit him down for the rest of the series for that play. Nice effort but not the time you want to prove you're an offensive beast.
2GOLD Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Now watch Lebron wake up and single handedly drag the Cavs to a 3-3 series tie including two games where he scores 40 plus points. Â You can almost feel it in the air for some reason.
Vern Gagne Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I don't feel that. If Cleveland can score more points than SA next game, than I see the series going to a fifth game.
cabbageboy Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 This series needs to just end. The only title game that might be worse is the Colts/Cowboys Super Bowl where both teams fumbled and threw INTs the entire game (Super Bowl V). What's worse is that this is a terrible way to have the guy who is supposed to carry the league for the next decade debut in the Finals. Almost reminds me of the Rockets/Magic series in 1995, but at least Houston played well in that series and the Magic could at least brag that they beat the Bulls even after Jordan returned. Â That said, to suggest Detroit vs. San Antonio would have been better is to miss the point. Spurs vs. ANYONE in the Finals isn't going to be worth a damn, I think it's obvious by now. Sure, the Pistons might have provided a tougher series, but that would just be 6-7 unwatchable games instead of the unwatchable sweep we'll get here. Fans by and large don't want to see any of these teams. Â I'm hoping for the Suns vs. Heat next year in the Finals. At least that might produce something resembling professional basketball.
Guest Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 The Heat are finished as a title contending team. Â Done. Squashed. Kablam.
Nightwing Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 I'm hoping for the Suns vs. Heat next year in the Finals. At least that might produce something resembling professional basketball. Â The Heat? Professional Basketball? Those don't go together. Â Seriously, the Heat are like the Pistons in terms of lackluster play, only worse. They don't perform at all during the Regular Season (Because, apparently, "it doesn't matter") and just expect to turn it on during the playoffs when they couldn't really turn it on all year. I'll give the Pistons one thing: at least they had it on for a series and a half. The Heat don't have anything.

alfdogg Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 That people thought this would be a more watchable series because of the Cavaliers is laughable. They're about 20 times as boring as the Spurs. LeBron's fun to watch sometimes, but the rest of that team...ugh. If you can get past their incessant whining, the Pistons are considerably more watchable as a team than the Cavs. Â That's why this series is garbage. The Spurs have played very well, aside from tonight, but Cleveland has been brutal from pretty much the opening tip. Those guys just weren't ready to be playing for the championship, let's face it. Then again, you don't know how to win until you get beat.
Gert T Posted June 13, 2007 Report Posted June 13, 2007 Cavs should be ready to win then in about 48 minutes.
