Vanhalen Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 Never figured out why the guests on here look at the strangest things, look at this for example, someone looking at a Velocity report from 2003? Are most of the guests just web trawlers, and who is google.com?
kkktookmybabyaway Posted August 5, 2007 Report Posted August 5, 2007 And you're looking at guests looking at the most bizarre things.
CanadianGuitarist Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 Before opening the thread, I thought you meant, like, visitors to your house always examined your knick-knacks and such.
CanadianChris Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 Before opening the thread, I thought you meant, like, visitors to your house always examined your knick-knacks and such. Christ, that's exactly what I was thinking. Guests poking around in your medicine cabinet and stuff.
sfaJack Posted August 6, 2007 Report Posted August 6, 2007 That kind of nosing around is just one reason why I rarely invite people over to the house.
Boon Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 Before opening the thread, I thought you meant, like, visitors to your house always examined your knick-knacks and such. Christ, that's exactly what I was thinking. Guests poking around in your medicine cabinet and stuff. Yup. Pictures, too.
Slayer Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 Lately I've been getting CanadianGuitarist and CanadianChris mixed up due to having both similar names and similar avs
Spaceman Spiff Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 I'm glad I wasn't the only one doing that.
Copper Feel Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 Me too, for some reason I used to get Murmuring Beast and The Man In Blak mixed up as well. Oh, and when I first started Kotzenjunge and Incandenza.
CanadianGuitarist Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 Lately I've been getting CanadianGuitarist and CanadianChris mixed up due to having both similar names and similar avs He's an infinitely better poster than I am. Notice his versatility in the sports folder, and his far fewer drunken posts. This raises a question: Do you notice avatars more than signatures?
CanadianChris Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 I mostly notice avatars, but there are a few exceptions. Spiff and KingPK come to mind.
Cheech Tremendous Posted August 7, 2007 Report Posted August 7, 2007 I turned off sigs long ago as well.
Guest Soriano's Torn Quad Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 Remember the golden age of sigs, when there were these two people named Thunder and Nikki who made banners for everyone? Those days are gone now, and the sigs were probably kinda dopey.
Spaceman Spiff Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 I still have the banner they made for me in my sig.
Slayer Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 Spiff's sig was always a favorite of mine I turned them off because of a combination of some people having NSFW sigs, and also because of some lord-awful sigs (see also: mildmegasus). Plus it makes the post lengths uniform
Steviekick Posted August 8, 2007 Report Posted August 8, 2007 I can understand the looking at a Velocity thread from 2003. They might have googled something and that thread came up as a result.
Steve J. Rogers Posted August 9, 2007 Report Posted August 9, 2007 Maybe they were doing research on whomever wrestled on that particular Velocity.
kkktookmybabyaway Posted August 10, 2007 Report Posted August 10, 2007 I turned off sigs long ago as well.
CanadianChris Posted August 10, 2007 Report Posted August 10, 2007 I just turned them off. I don't know why I never tried this before.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted August 11, 2007 Report Posted August 11, 2007 I just recently turned sigs on now that I have a faster connection and it doesnt take 6 forevers to load all the pictures..
Cheech Tremendous Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 I just recently turned sigs on now that I have a faster connection and it doesnt take 6 forevers to load all the pictures.. I just don't give a shit about what people want to put in their sigs.
The Man in Blak Posted August 13, 2007 Report Posted August 13, 2007 Me too, for some reason I used to get Murmuring Beast and The Man In Blak mixed up as well. Oh, and when I first started Kotzenjunge and Incandenza. What in the fuck.
LaParkaYourCar Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 Remember the golden age of sigs, when there were these two people named Thunder and Nikki who made banners for everyone? Those days are gone now, and the sigs were probably kinda dopey. Wow I had forgotten about Thunder and Nikki.
luke-o Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 I like sigs. The only problem is that I check TSM mostly when I'm at work, and they rarely load when I'm there due to websense.
JJMc Posted August 23, 2007 Report Posted August 23, 2007 Before opening the thread, I thought you meant, like, visitors to your house always examined your knick-knacks and such. Yeah, that's actually kind of a running joke between me and a friend of mine. There was this kid we used to hang around with who, when he would come over, would start combing through drawers etc. and would be like "Dude, where'd you get this~!" And it would be the most uninteresting shit, too.
