MarvinisaLunatic 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 Is MVP/Matt Hardy happening at SS? Cause if not that was a waste of 15 minutes.

DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 By SNME format standards, it isn't. It's the match everyone went to sleep during (like the last bits of SNL). Kinda pissed because the spoiler order said the Vince comedy segment was last but apparently it aired while I was bowling.
BifEverchad 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 Man, that show was kinda bad. Nothing really made me say I'm glad I watched this for the last 90 mins.
CBright7831 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 It would be funny if Vince had sex w/ his own daughter.
Wrestlefreak 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 Man, that show was kinda bad. Nothing really made me say I'm glad I watched this for the last 90 mins. I agree. The boxing segment was the worst, IMO. It made me cringe. The only good part was the RKO on the chair. Orton hit the move perfectly and the crowd reaction was great. I don't think we should expect too much from SNME. It's just a throwaway show that WWE occasionally pulls out to to build-up a PPV. That's really all it is. razazteca 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 It would be funny if Vince had sex w/ his own daughter. Hasn't it already been established that Vince is a huge perv. Let's look at the facts he gets blowjobs from all of the divas, he stares at Stephanie's breasts, and he has superman grapefruit balls of steel.
The Buzz 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 It's too bad Vince is at his age, and other than his pyschology, bad in the ring. Because with his gimmick, charisma, and delivery he probably has the best heel character in the history of wrestling.
RedJed 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 Looks like I was the only one who enjoyed the show. The Orton-Cena angle was tremendous, and Austin/Vince, even know we are now almost at a 10 year anniversary of that feud officially starting (in the same location even) was still fun to watch. The matches themselves were nothing stupendous, but served their purpose as build to SS. The Holyfield deal - I didnt see it nearly as bad as most here. What do you expect, its a freakin worked boxing match?!! I took it for what it was and was entertained enough. The only real bone to pick with this show was the build for it. With Holyfield appearing, they should have started promoting this weeks ahead. Hell, we hardly got much of promotion for it on any of the shows this week either. razazteca 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 Too bad this drama is just going to lead to nothing as usual just like every other extended angle that has been on WWE tv this decade. The person who is the bastard child better start the next wrestling boom otherwise its just Vince & family just stealing tv time to get their thrills of being "hollywood stars". As usual WWE thinks its a good idea to overkill everything that they perceive that will get them attention. So now we have Vince 4 times a week for a total of 7 hours of "YOU ARE NOT THE NEXT OF KIN!". Wake me up when they focus on good ol fashion wrestling matches that is more about athleticism than working boring formulaic matches that will always have a botch to be repeated several times. cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2007 Yeah I don't get how this Vince angle can exactly be long and drawn out. Any sort of paternity suit in real life would have to have the plaintiff's identity and the name of the child on it. If this woman won't even reveal herself, why is Vince even taking it seriously since her case would be instantly thrown out of court? I bet it will end up being Kennedy, and then at some point about 3 years from now we'll find out Kennedy orchestrated the entire thing to further his own career and isn't Vince's son. Nate 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2007 i thought it was a good little show, i think it would be cool if they could do a SNME maybe 3-4 times a year
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2007 I have to admit I too thought that Ron Simmons should have looked in the mirror and seen himself younger and with the WCW title. But I guess that's because I watched his win over Vader the other day on You Tube.

Let's look at the facts he gets blowjobs from all of the divas, he stares at Stephanie's breasts, and he has superman grapefruit balls of steel. You know its so stupid you have to laugh sometimes. I mean here is a guy who has booked himself as this bad ass 60 something year old mother fucker with big nuts the last few years and now he says has fucked women in every state and 120 different countries. I mean its so damn juvinile that its something you would expect out of a stoned high school kid or drunk frat boy in college. He really is a bizarre individual. mysterious_w 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2007 I spoiled the Orton run-in by accident, and thought to myself "Ho-hum, RKO on a steel chair flat in the ring." So Orton instead killing Cena was a welcome surprise for me. How the hell has Orton become my favourite heel in the company.

mysterious_w 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2007 No, I'm not liking Orton just because he's better than Cena, I'm liking Orton himself.
cameron chaos 0 Report post Posted August 20, 2007 Straight up BAAAALLLLINNNNNNNNN Made my night. Also, "Half Man Half Amazing" is my old CAW name for announcers in SmackDown games. he bit Jim Jones for the "Baaaallin'!" of off We Fly High and Nas for "half man, half amazing" from It Ain't Hard To Tell. It's kind of sad in a way Cena wrote his own rap promos but MVP just bites MC's swagger and doesn't try himself. The RKO was nice though.
pochorenella 0 Report post Posted August 21, 2007 According to 411mania, rating for SNME was a 2.5, up from the previous edition which did only a 1.9. Not a mind-blowing rating, but still, on par with SD! at least.
Jericholic82 0 Report post Posted August 22, 2007 They cut out the best part of the Mcmahaon segment (Balls, but you had to know nbc wouldnt want that, they would have to do alot of editing-or they wanted to cut the segment short to keep on par with allotted time) then again SNL had the whole Alec Baldwin "Shweaty Balls" segment on once so what the hell? I guess they wanted a match to end the show not a promo so thats why they aired vince in the middle as opposed to the order in which it was taped A few fans actually did yell lets get ready to suck it!, live That rating is pretty impressive for a late night show, TNA can't even come close and they air in prime time too bad they didnt show Austin forcing Coach and Vince to sing (they sang I left my heart in san francisco pitifully after they cut off on the air, and then Austin stunned them again)
