AndrewTS Posted October 8, 2007 Report Posted October 8, 2007 ...starts tonight. "...Or Die Trying" Granddad, Huey, Riley and Jazmine sneak into the movies to watch Soulplane 2: The Blackjacking! At the theatre, they do their best to avoid Ruckus, who is fervent about reporting them to the authorities. → Snoop Dogg and Mo'Nique guest star.
BorneAgain Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 Season 2 Promo Preview for "Or Die Trying" Looking forward to tonight.
Timmy8271 Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 Well that was pretty good. Love the fight. Why is it on Monday?
Gary Floyd Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 "I'm gonna stop these terrorists or die tryin'!" "Yeah, so-power to the peo-" "Fuck you!"
AndrewTS Posted October 9, 2007 Author Report Posted October 9, 2007 No idea. Loved both the trailer, as well as the horribly violent MPAA ad. "Stealing movies is a felony...just like robbing the elderly...or murder." And the obligatory racist Ruckus comment was funny. "I ain't never seen a n***** smart enough to use a personal computer. Not even a Macintosh." And of course, Jasmine freaking out. Jasmine: "You're ruining my innocence!" Robert: "Shut up!"
Mecha Mummy Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 "This is going to be the worst day of your life. I'm bringing nunchucks." Good lord have I missed this show. Fantastic episode and a great way to start things off.
Ravenbomb Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 Any show that makes fun of Soul Plane this much =
Big Ol' Smitty Posted October 9, 2007 Report Posted October 9, 2007 That's what you call winnin'? A nigga's nuts in your face? Soul Plane! Soul Pla-a-ane! We gon' fly on the SOUL Plane!
AndrewTS Posted October 15, 2007 Author Report Posted October 15, 2007 Tonight's ep: "Tom, Sarah and Usher" Tom starts to think that his wife Sarah is cheating with Usher. → Katt Williams and Affion Crockett guest star. Featuring the return of a pimp named Slickback!
Hoff Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Not a great episode, but Ruckus and A Pimp Named Slickback were great. Slickback: "Has NOT hittin' the bitch been working?"
AndrewTS Posted October 16, 2007 Author Report Posted October 16, 2007 Plus Robert, of course. "Watch yo' mouth, boy. Tom, shut the hell up!" "Tom, when I said you could stay, I thought it would be temporary. Now, though...it doesn't look like there's any end in sight." Tom: It's been two days. "Nigga, hush!" I thought it was a good ep overall, with the ass-kickings as the best part. Jazmin, though...shut up, bitch! Her annoying level was cranked up to the max this ep. I actually caught the episode on Youtube, probably ripped from the adultswim site (I forgot they often show eps of shows early). Watched it again actually, but with MUTE at the ready then.
ant_7000 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 A Pimp Named Slickback saved this episode. The "Let it Burn" video was funny though. "This is an intervention, your suffering from chronic bitch dependency."
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 "Sorry man....but-I-wouldn't-let-that-shit-happen-to-me-though."
AndrewTS Posted October 17, 2007 Author Report Posted October 17, 2007 Come on, you gotta love Tom's happy memories where Sarah clearly looks bored out of her skull every time.
Ripper Posted October 17, 2007 Report Posted October 17, 2007 I paid you two thousand dollars....and five hundred dollars as well. For some reason that made me laugh the hardest.
AndrewTS Posted October 23, 2007 Author Report Posted October 23, 2007 Tonight's episode: A rash of home invasions has Woodcrest in a panic and the neighboorhood watch on high alert. But when Riley witnesses the theft of Granddad's precious car, Dorothy, Riley has to decide whether to "snitch" or not to "snitch". → Charles Q. Murphy, Samuel L. Jackson, Mos Def, and Bill Duke guest star.
devo Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 I loved the plastered shocked expression on the face of the "1 in 12" informant.
BorneAgain Posted October 23, 2007 Report Posted October 23, 2007 Lots of good stuff, (I actually liked Jazmine in this one) but the ending lines by Ed and Rummy just topped it off for me. "Thank you for not snitchiiiiiiiiing..." "Ya stupid motherfucker!" *laughs*
ant_7000 Posted October 24, 2007 Report Posted October 24, 2007 I like the Gangstaliscious rap about beating up label owner. Good dig on Diddy and Steve Stoute incident, and 2Pac. "I had one titty in one hand, and another titty on the other hand, while I was talking to my accountant."
