They almost give the Packers the red zone on an obvious non-call, while the drive before the Official sits there and watches Portis get face-masked but doesn't throw the flag. They almost give the Packers the red zone on an obvious non-call, while the drive before the Official sits there and watches Portis get face-masked but doesn't throw the flag. Yeah, the JAX/HOU officials haven't been all that grand either. NYU 0 Report post Posted October 14, 2007 As a leader, I like Chad Pennington. He has a strong presence, a winning attitude, and always seemed to have a mind for winning. But he cannot continue as the quarterback for the Jets. To go 0-3 against Buffalo, the Giants, and the Eagles is just miserable -- and as the QB that cannot seem to finish teams off anymore, he needs to be benched. I can't guarantee Kellen Clemens will be any better but the Jets need to shake up their offense like they did years ago when they benched Testaverde in favor of Pennington. Oh, and Mangini going for a endzone pass to Laveranues Coles on a 4th and 1 situation with the game on the line was just awful strategy as well.
