UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 King referred to it as a "binary code" (ugh...) interruption and smirked that he knows what it means but is gonna keep quiet.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 The video saying "go. jeri. go." is kind of a giveaway. Huh, I didn't notice that. *shrugs* I noticed it too, but I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Guess not.
LooseCannon25 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 3 damn weeks we've seen the same shit with these 2 clowns. What the fuck is going on with Raw??!!!!!
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I wonder what the other matches will be..
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 The roster is ultra-thin and they're using a boring "respect" angle between a kid who is a terrible wrestler and an always-slow veteran who can't deliver. Everyone will fall in love with this duo because they're better pontential tag title contenders than London and Kendrick, who got mega-over on Smackdown! despite the tag division having crap like D n D and Stevens & James to face every week. THIS IS WHAT WWE WRITERS REALLY BELIEVE.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Rey/Finlay - Stretcher Match, Shileileh (sp?) On a Pole, No DQ will probably be an option.
strummer Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Didn't notice this last week but Shawn is jacked up like he was from 96-98. Hope he has that prescription
JPopStarKami Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 The roster is ultra-thin and they're using a boring "respect" angle between a kid who is a terrible wrestler and an always-slow veteran who can't deliver. Be easy on Cody, his career did just start. Now Bobcore has no excuse.
Hawk 34 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I wonder what the other matches will be.. Expect a woman's match with a gimmick possibly along the line of the usual ilk (bra n panties, paddle, mud), something with MVP-Hardy that won't actually be a match but another competition and probably another SD match with Mysterio/Finlay.
The Amazing Rando Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 The video did not say "go.jeri.go." i went through the whole thing frame by frame. I did, however, see "geometry" more than a few times.
Downhome Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I really, really like the return of HBK here. I also love Orton's sell of SCM, awesome once again. Anyway, how can the rating for RAW not be as low as, or lower, than the rating for last week? We get multiple Hornswoggle segments, Orton wrestling in three matches, and on top of that, it wasn't live and that seems to hurt the ratings more often than not.
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I hope we get the oft-overlooked "VERBAL DEBATE" as a stipulation. Should've been Batista Vs. Coach, Vader, and Goldust!
UseTheSledgehammerUh Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 It did say "go.jeri.go". Two of us saw it. You're one person. In the center of the screen between other numbers/letters. I don't care to argue as it's not like it excites me or not like we don't know who it's leading to, but it's there.
Hawk 34 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 The new CS matches are Matt Hardy Vs MVP Boxing Match MMA Match Wrestling Match MMA? Wow. We already saw a boxing match hyped between the two. Finlay Vs Mysterio Shillelagh on a Pole Stretcher NO DQ stretcher seems quite obvious and they'll push for the fans to vote for it.

The Amazing Rando Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 oh well...i didnt dvr it so i cant check again but no biggie.
mysterious_w Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 So I'm looking at the matches for Cyber Sunday, are they pushing HBK for Orton? Because otherwise I reckon Jeff's a pretty safe lock.
Hawk 34 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 So I'm looking at the matches for Cyber Sunday, are they pushing HBK for Orton? Because otherwise I reckon Jeff's a pretty safe lock. Yes, they are pushing for Shawn. Two weeks in a row he laid Orton out with SCM.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 The 6 matches suck, though its nice they finally do Matt Hardy vs MVP
Perfection Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I really, really like the return of HBK here. I also love Orton's sell of SCM, awesome once again. Isn't it amazing that despite the fact their ratings are in the toilet, they continue to put out the same old shit? I"m just wondering how bad does it have to get before things change.
cabbageboy Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 The problem is having different shit to sell. I guess that is where Saveus222 will come in. This had to be one of the worst Raws in history tonight. A blatant Looney Tunes ripoff, Orton wrestling in THREE matches (2 of these had DQs as well), Hornswaggle being horribly overexposed, Umaga squashing a jobber three different times....How can they not kill their UK business after a show like that?
Conspiracy_Victim Posted October 16, 2007 Author Report Posted October 16, 2007 Going through the new saveus promo, a few attention getters: REV_2:25 (I'm pretty sure already discussed) 2ND_COMING (ref. either Jericho's second go around with the E or the literal "Second Coming" of the E's Savior?) followed by: UPON_US SAVE_US.229 (was .222 at the beginning, but changed) I'm not saying it wasn't there, but I haven't seen "go. jer. go." I did see "GJO GJW" on the black (input?) screen. Was that what you all saw? I'll keep looking.
RedJed Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 Damn, even getting baked out of my skull didnt make that show entertaining tonight. Just overall horrible shit. I was expecting the exact opposite out of the show given the 2.8 last week. This was about as boring of a show and borderline annoying in most parts at the blandness of it. Each of those Orton matches were not even entertaining whatsoever. The rest of the matches were pretty much one sided squashes. The Umaga shit was just killing me in how drawn out it got. And what can you say about the Hornswaggle shit other than that they are totally trying to cater to kids on a late night Monday with a homage to freaking cartoons. If the rating doesn't drop, I will be shocked. The ending of the show was just a rehash of last week, basically. Nothing overall productive here at all. No question this was one of the worst Raw's I've seen in a long time. And whats with Lawler and the whole Jericho thing? 2.29 makes me think they have now decided to hold off Jericho appearing until 10/29, the day after the ppv. Who knows.

Most of the fans in Europe, Japan and other areas are just happy to see a WWE show live.
Chazz Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 As soon as I heard that Orton would be wrestling 3 times tonight, I changed back over to MNF. Glad to see I made the right choice. Same old shit. Good to see Vince and Creative learned their lesson from last week's record low rating show. If the people in charge don't give a shit, then neither do I.
haws bah gawd Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I find it funny how JR and the King mentioned that Jeff Hardy was the current leader in the voting for the title shot, yet out of all 3 matches, Jeff was the only guy that had to eat a pinfall. Also, Candace Michelle now pumping her fists to the "Raise your Hands Up" lines in her entrance music is about the most laughable and goofy-looking thing I've seen in a while. Jericho can't come back fast enough.
AntiLeaf33 Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 I find it funny how JR and the King mentioned that Jeff Hardy was the current leader in the voting for the title shot, yet out of all 3 matches, Jeff was the only guy that had to eat a pinfall. I'd say they jobbed Jeff so that he looks less likely to beat Orton, and a vote for him is a lost cause.
cabbageboy Posted October 16, 2007 Report Posted October 16, 2007 The hilarious aspect of that is instead of looking at the fans voting for Jeff as a sign that maybe this guy is over and people want to see him main event, they say "Oh shit, this isn't what we want....we gotta job him so that he doesn't win!" Know what's funny? I voted for Jeff too, mainly to fuck with WWE. It would be funny if everyone voted for Jeff out of spite figuring HBK will win anyway, but then Jeff actually wins. And then jobs at the PPV.

Doesn't matter what we saw versus what's there anyway, it's Jericho anyway.
