Nobody wants to win this fucking game.

My EXACT words to my roomate who just got in. This is god damned ridiculous. Can you imagine telling somehone six or eight months ago how this would play out tonight?

"What a game", Al?

That was one of the worst played football games I've seen all season.

That most likely ends any hopes for Indy getting homefield.

The worst part is that THE LEAGUE wanted the Colts to win, and they still couldn't.

Wasn't even the worst-played game today. I watched Bears-Raiders.

6 INTs and 2 sacks.

And just think, the Colts still could have won if not for the missed FG and the missed PI call on Moorehead.

That was just such bullshit. Let me get this straight. It takes having Harrison, Clark, and Freeney hurt, Manning throwing 6 INTs, Vinatieri completely melting down in a career worse miss, and some dubious officiating for the Chargers to win this game.

By the way who scheduled this shit anyway? After the epic last week the Patriots get to chill and have a bye week. Meanwhile the Colts have to travel to play a team that went 14-2 last year.

So I guess the Colts are the ONLY team in the NFL with some key injuries...

Geez, it makes me sick to listen to Al Michaels run off excuse after excuse as to why the Colts played poorly today. As if they are the only team with key players that are out.

He said something along the lines of "well give Indy all the credit in the world for still lining up tonight with a couple O-lineman injured"

Umm, excuse me, why would anyone give them credit for that? Every NFL team does the same thing every week with key injured starters sitting on the sidelines....

F-ing unbelievable.

Funny how the "yeah, they have injuries, bfd, so does every team" argument only seems to be used against the Colts.

OMG, Clint Session. That was great watching him run that INT back. He was so gassed by the end of the run. Hilarious.

The Cowboys sonned the giants today. TO shit on their D and Romo did whatever he wanted. After beating the eagles last week and giants (for the sweep) today, we're lookin great. 3 game lead in the NFC East with the redskins to play next week to finish up our 3 game divisional stretch with 2 of those on the road.

Colts got fucking RAPED with the calls today. The no call on the pass interference, the no call on holding on the defense when Manning thew it away, the simulating the snap call, the inadvertent whistle, etc. But, Manning's 6 INT's didn't help either. Only Romo can get away with that (thanks bills). Also, Vinatieri is a worthless piece of shit. He could hit all the big ones in new england, but can't in Indy. Missing the game winner from 27 yds out? Fuck that.

Oh come on. It happens to everyone. It's not like he's routinely shanking them in those situations, like Vanderjagt. This is the first time, in my memory, that he's missed one in this situation since coming to Indy.

Redskins really have no chance next week. Well I can't say "no chance" because the Redskins/Cowboys is one of those "anything can happen" rivalries, but the Redskins aren't consistent or aggressive enough on offense to keep up with the Cowboys scoring machine. That, and they can't generate a pass rush worth a damn which spells trouble against an offense that has a good amount of options to throw to. I will be rooting my hardest for the upset, but I seriously doubt it. It pains me to realize this as my hatred for the Cowboys is as much as a birthright as my diehard love for the Skins. It would have been nice to see TO get pwned again by Sean Taylor at least, but he got injured this week and I am not sure what his status is for next week yet.

THE LEAGUE was balancing things out. Their cover was almost blown last week.

I'm just sick of losing because of kicking. I thought we'd kicked the habit of missing big FG's when we rid of vandershank. I thought Viniteieerere was the answer.

They may not be game winning FG's, but they are game changing FG's. He can't make ANY against the pats (AFC Championship and this year), and this should have been a chip shot for the win.

It IS a little weird that he can't make any of those big kicks against New England.

Also, I have no qualms about the Cowboys being the best team in the NFC, like everyone is saying after today. Really. Not at all.

Does San Diego's win over Indy change how things look in the AFC? Can San Diego be taken as a threat now against, say, Pittsburgh?

Also, interconference matchups are currently at 20-20. PARITY~

Maybe he's a secret agent for the pats. He only got traded to the colts so he can sabotage their games when they play the pats. That's the only way the pats can get past the colts.

Or maybe bill billicheat beat the bejesus out of him when he played for the pats and he's scared shitless of him. I wouldn't be surprised if bellicheat's trained in Krav Maga along with extreme torture techniques.

Or he could be carrying one of tom brady's many illegitimate kids and doesn't want to piss off the daddy.

All viable answers.

I went to work with five minutes left in the first half, and that was already the worst game I've ever seen Manning play by MILES. Ho-lee shit.

This is what happens when the D-posters of TSM come in and try to run with the remnants of jokes already exhausted by better posters, only to fumble on the line like Tiki Barber

1. I'm not even a D poster.

2. Tiki didn't fumble nearly as much his last year.

Threat? It took Peyton having the worst game of his career, the refs making several terrible calls and Vinatieri having the worst miss of his career for the Chargers to BARELY hold on to win even after being given a 23-0 cushion. Yah, they won't get that lucky in the playoffs.

Yeah San Diego was pretty fortunate in regards of the Colt's offensive miserable performace. Even after the win, I'm not bought anymore on San Diego being an elite team anymore. They are very good and extremely talented, but after 10 weeks there are some fatal flaws. I won't name the obvious Norv Turner but it seemed that teams have done a decent job in containing LT for now. Teams are more content with containing LT and letting Rivers beat them. Rivers has had his moments of excellence this season, but knowing that he can't really rely on LT to bail him out has really exposed him as a painfully average QB. San Diego will win the divison almost by default due to the incompetence of the AFC West, but I believe, unless Norv Turner has a miracle run inside of him, they are a one and done in the playoffs.
