Precious Roy Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 Knicks beat the Jazz 113-109. With the win over Chicago it's a sort of impressive homecourt bounce back after that horrific west coast trip/8 game losing streak. At least I guess you can say the team hasn't quit yet. @ Boston on Thursday so yeahhhh....good to get a couple wins under the belt
Rendclaw Posted November 27, 2007 Report Posted November 27, 2007 The Pistons, no matter what, can't beat the Jazz. I have never seen a team that has another team's number more than Utah has Detroit's... its unbelievable.
Ripper Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Hawks 30 Bulls 34. HALFTIME. You have to be fucking kidding me.
Guest Pizza Hut's Game Face Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 You beat me to it, dude. I think the NBA should start sending out formal apologies for games like these. How much longer can the Bulls miss every shot they take? Don't they have to progress to the mean eventually?
alfdogg Posted November 28, 2007 Author Report Posted November 28, 2007 Pacers win in Denver in what was easily the worst officiated game of the season. I dare anyone to defy this.
Ripper Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Well Mike Woodson fixed it by putting Tyronne Lue on Chris Duhon in the second half. Chris basically would walk past Lue on the way to the basket causing all kinds of missed switches on defense and let the Chicago shooters get hot. But although they did beat my team tonight, Chicago looks BAD. Skiles needs to move Gordon back to the bench, and start Nocioni again with Deng as a big shooting guard. Oh, by the way, Tyrus Thomas....he kinda sucks even though he does some impressive stuff.
Guest Pizza Hut's Game Face Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Len Bias was a better draft pick than Tyrus Thomas. He doesn't try in practice and he's a complete idiot. I like that he tattooed his name on his arm (uppercase blackletter, natch). He probably forgets from time to time and needs to refer to his arm. Kirk Hinrich doesn't justify John Paxson's man-crush. I can't fathom how the Bulls have gotten as bad as they've gotten.
Ripper Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Oddly it hasn't been mentioned yet, but yeah, that Lebron guy. Whats up with him?
Brett Favre Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Question on Max Kellerman Show: Who would you rather have: LeBron or KG/Pierce/Allen? I gotta go with LeBron partly because he's a beast and also because he's like 10 years younger than two of those guys.
Ripper Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 If I take lebron, do I have to become retarded and surround him with overpaid people that can't play? Because If I take Lebron, I would have more money left than with KG/Pierce/Allen and could build a even better team. If I could only take Lebron on go all Ferry in the head, then I would take the 3. Who I still don't think can lose a series.
Brett Favre Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Yeah I guess you don't take the Ferry mentality option if you take LeBron. Gotta go with LeBron especially when you can build a better team. He singlehandedly beat the Celtics yesterday.
Ripper Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 When you consider that they could have signed Joe Johnson but went with Larry Hughes...you gotta wonder what the fuck was Ferry smoking.
Brett Favre Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 They had a shot at Ray Allen, Joe Johnson, Larry Hughes, and Michael Redd. The other two he couldn't do anything about, and JJ would've been nice. Sucks that he ended up with the worse of the group.
Ripper Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Except Hughes ALWAYS missed like 20 games per year. Why the fuck would you go with THAT one?
Brett Favre Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 On top of that he felt he had to spend all the money he had so he went and signed Marshall and Jones. It probably wouldn't have sat well with Cleveland at the time but waiting a year to see if you could have gotten anything better would've been the way to go.
Ripper Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 And no one else was offering close to that amount of money for Marshall and Jones. Just horrible moves all around.
MrRant Posted November 28, 2007 Report Posted November 28, 2007 Hawks 30 Bulls 34. HALFTIME. You have to be fucking kidding me. At least they aren't referring to the league as FAN-tastic anymore.
Rendclaw Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 I still can't believe that collapse by the Cavs last night. I know they are a total practice squad without Lebron, but for fucks sake, have a LITTLE bit of pride and don;t just roll over to be raped anally... And I say that being a Pistons fan. The Cavs completely bitched out after Lebron went down. I would have had more respect for that team had they scrapped and fought and lost by 20, but they took it up the ass and got blown out by 35. Fucking pathetic.
alfdogg Posted November 29, 2007 Author Report Posted November 29, 2007 Pacers went to 2-0 last night on their first West swing with a win in Portland. With Seattle and the Clippers next up, I think we have a solid chance of sweeping this trip, even though the Clippers have beaten us already, and Seattle has to win in Seattle at some point. Jamaal Tinsley is playing the ball of his life, I can't stress this enough. Ditto Dunleavy and David Harrison.
Brett Favre Posted November 29, 2007 Report Posted November 29, 2007 I'm impressed by the Pacers. Mike Dunleavy finally decided to live up to his sleeper title in every fantasy league.
naiwf Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 The Knicks are down by 25 with 4 1/2 left in the 1st half. This exceeds my expectations of them playing tough for a half and then getting blown out.
Brett Favre Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Oh and Marv Albert is really annoying. Get a grip old man.
devo Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 My dad actually called me to alert me of this embarrassment. He said, and I quote "I hope, for the good of the franchise, they lose by fifty points."
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 The only way I could enjoy this beatdown more is if it were happening to the Lakers.
Guest Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Just looked at the score. Ho-lee shit. The Knicks are shooting 28% from the field.
KingPK Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) Boston's doubled the Knicks total after 3 at 82-41. Doc better not run up the score here. Edited November 30, 2007 by KingPK
Steviekick Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I guess Zeke will be cleaning out his office tommorrow. Any reason why the home/away jerseys are flipped toinght?
