Mr. S£im Citrus Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Boston's doubled the Knicks total after 3 at 82-41. Doc better not run up the score here. Run up the score? Doc only has one guy in the top eight of his rotation on the floor; he can't help it if the Knicks lick balls.
KingPK Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) I know. I'm just being an ass. But you know someone in the NYC papers is going to say something like "Belichick's taught Doc Rivers a few things" tomorrow. EDIT: Any reason why the home/away jerseys are flipped toinght? Those darker green unis are the Celtics' "alternate" home jerseys. Shamrock Green or something like that. Edited November 30, 2007 by KingPK
Brett Favre Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 But you know someone in the NYC papers is going to say something like "Belichick's taught Doc Rivers a few things" tomorrow. Frank Isola.
alfdogg Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 Great defensive play by the ex-Pacer Fred Jones.
Failed Bridge Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 before even stepping into this thread I was thinking to myself "Wow, the Celts sure did go and pull a Patriots on the Knicks".
KingPK Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 And the Knicks get a half-court three at the buzzer to avoid scoring the fewest points in their history.
MFer Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 And the Knicks get a half-court three at the buzzer to avoid scoring the fewest points in their history. Which wouldn't have happened if Doc was enough of a dick to let Boston take a shot at winning by 50.
Mr. S£im Citrus Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Damn, Camby just basically said the rest of his frontcourt ain't shit.
Guest Smues Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Nate Robinson was the only Knick in double digit points, with 11? If you hear some loud laughter from the north you know where it's coming from.
alfdogg Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 And his last 3 came on that half-court heave at the end.
Smartly Pretty Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I just spent 45 minutes trying to find the phone number for the knicks front office. I intend on applying for the job of general manager.
Bored Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I can't believe it only took the Warriors nine games to get above .500 after the 0-6 start.
Precious Roy Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I figured, national TV, division leading opponent, the Knicks would at least bother to show up. Of course they were going to lose, and probably lose by double digits, but at least have some pride. This was a new low. They were in danger of a) having their score doubled, b) losing by 50, and c) setting the NBA record for lowest scoring output. Time to rid ourselves of Isiah. Would be nice if we could get rid of James Dolan/Cablevision and Marbury too, but I'll settle for Isiah's head. I've given him every benefit of the doubt along the way, let myself buy into whatever hype this team has had in the offseasons, but I've reached the end of my rope. Enough is enough. First it was the Larry Brown fiasco, then the sexual harassment lawsuit, now the complete loss of control of his players. I don't even care who they hire. I'm not even sure who'd want to try and clean up this mess, but it can't get any worse.
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 And Carmelo is ejected after literally choking Sasha Vujachec.
alfdogg Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 The source was shaky, but Donnie Walsh's name was thrown out there a couple weeks ago. I don't know how much longer he could do it, though.
alfdogg Posted November 30, 2007 Author Report Posted November 30, 2007 (edited) Holy crap. A Jelani McCoy sighting. EDIT: And he has two blocks in less than a minute! Edited November 30, 2007 by alfdogg
Guest Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Trevor Ariza is dirt. It takes a special kind of bad to look that way when the rest of the team looks so perfect.
MrRant Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 And Carmelo is ejected after literally choking Sasha Vujachec. Street cred.
Rendclaw Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Trevor Ariza is dirt. It takes a special kind of bad to look that way when the rest of the team looks so perfect. Why do you think the Magic got rid of him?? And I take back the comments I said about the Cavs after the Knicks got gang-raped by the Celtics. Isaiah has to have pictures on Dolan to put the Knicks franchise through the ringer as he has.
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Man that Knicks-Celtics game was a total ass-kicking. The Knicks are a total disgrace on and off the court. Stern should really strip Dolan of the team and run it himself until he finds a legitmate buyer thats interested in winning.

Why do you think the Magic got rid of him?? Well, he can play defense. I was more talking offensively. "Dunk, ur, uh, a guy's in front of me, oops, I missed, but I'll get the rebound, jack up an ugly, wide open mid-range jumper and nearly airball it." I like that we have a scrub who doesn't need or deserve minutes, though. That way the players who contribute can actually get PT, instead of subbing in Brian "I only shoot 3's" Cook all the time.
CanadianChris Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Man, I hope the Knicks/Bucks game tonight is on League Pass up here. I can't wait to see the Garden crowd after last night's fiasco.
Brett Favre Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 I was there for the GS game and the highlight of that game was two guys dressed as Captain America and Spiderman trying to get a LETS GO KNICKS chant going only for it to stop like a few minutes later. Eventually it was back to the fire Isiah chants. Dolan doesn't care.

I know, but my point is that being an offensive liability is almost as bad as being a defensive one. And I think that Brian Cook is given a bad rap. The only way you are going to get (occasional) shots in the Lakers offense is to camp out around the 3-point line and pray that Kobe draws a triple team and he *feels* like passing it to you.
Guest Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 It hasn't been that way this season. The bench is scoring tons of points.
Cheech Tremendous Posted November 30, 2007 Report Posted November 30, 2007 Phil Jackson got a two year, $24 million extension. I think very highly of Phil as a coach, but I think I'd want a little more than 45 wins and first round playoff exit for that kind of money.
Brett Favre Posted December 1, 2007 Report Posted December 1, 2007 Whoops. FTWiiiii TOO! Fred Jones is a beast.
