The best is when they cut to the one ladies daughter holding the "I love you Mommy" sign and Crush knocked her off in like 6 seconds. And the little girl looked like she was going to cry. Conspiracy_Victim 0 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 The news on Morgan is that when he went to finalize the deal to be on Gladiators, they wanted to sign him to a 6 year deal tht would make the show his first priority. He wanted wrestling to be his first priority, so he turned it down. Things have since been worked out, and he will debut this season while being lowered from a cage. His Gladiator name is "Beast." Yeah I thought before the first ep. when they showed the silhouettes (sp) of the new Gladiators they had one guy who looked huge and had an animal skin of some kind over his shoulders. I thought maybe it was him. Or maybe I'm just imagining the whole thing. And the bit on Crush on E:60 was OK. Nothing earth shattering (she's popular because she's hot and kicks ass, she gets a lot of exposure that the... more homely MMA females don't get, they don't like her "selling sex") but it was still nice. Definitely, but it was up against Dancing and House (which was really, really good), so I can't say I'm surprised. Mik 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2008 It seems like either the contests were altered to make the gladiators look better or they just got way better between seasons. Skytrack was a bit lame tonight. It's amazing that 1+ year and Crush is still undefeated in every event. Go Gina. Monica continues to be in nearly every event while Evan only on the wall... although he was awesome on that tonight. And did anyone else notice that the girls made it past the swimming point more than twice as fast as the guys tonight? Lushus said it best last season... What's the deal with Steel? Her gimmick is that she doesn't talk? Right... I noticed there's a flippy wirey Asian Gladiator now...Zen. How has he done so far? Who was the "mammoth beast" male Gladiator they were talking about? The one in the cage? EDIT: I wiki'ed it...it's Matt Morgan eh? Beast...I figured he went back to wrestling full time. My biggest gripe with this season is that due to the increased number of gladiators, they end up using some of them in half of the events one week and then not at all the next. It's not like we're getting useful comments from the contenders during these things. NBC needs to figure this out: People watch Gladiators for the competition first, Gladiators second, competitors third. BTW I loved that stat about Crush outweighing the annoying short woman by 40lbs.
