I used to work in a mental health facility that had a sex offender unit (all juveniles). There was a kid there that fucked a dead deer and that wasn't nearly his most surprising story.

I fucked a Bart Simpson doll, but have never been to Wisconsin.

I like Robert Schimmel's bit about there having to be a law against animal necrophilia. "I'm sorry your honor, I thought the cat was still alive when I was fucking him. I wouldn't fuck a dead cat, that's against the law!"

In Tampa once, a guy in a band fucked a dead cow on stage, but he actually stabbed it and fucked the wound. I don't know if that would make a difference.

Invader3k, stop being so liberal.

Just because somebody fucks a dead animal, doesn't mean that they won't contribute anything to society. How do you know that he won't go on to make the next great invention? He obviously has a mind that thinks outside the box.

Oh, and, fuck your society. Just because I was born here (Well, in the Canadian society), what's with this "I have to contribute" bullshit. I didn't ask for this! I can be a bum if I want to be a bum. If I feel like contributing, I'll contribute.

And think of the diseases! Your dick would probably fall off from that.

Oy.

Hathaway was found guilty in April 2005 of felony mistreatment of an animal after he killed a horse with the intention of having sex with it. He was sentenced to 18 months in jail and two years of extended supervision on that charge as well as six years of probation for taking and driving a vehicle without the owner’s consent.

Hathaway had just been released from prison for the killing the horse when the deer incident happened, court records said.

This is my favorite part:

Hathaway was questioned because he was on probation and had returned to a transitional living program in Superior covered in hair and blood with a knife in his pocket, court records said.

This guy just doesn't give a fuck. He came back to his halfway house covered in physical evidence.

I'm not one for "slippery slope" arguments usually, but this guy just has Future Serial Killer written all over him. Killing, raping, and mutilating animals when they were younger is actually a surprisingly common theme for convicted serial killers. You'd think after his SECOND conviction for a sex crime, while he was still on probation for the first one, the judge might go "hmmm, maybe this guy needs to be locked up?" instead of letting him out on parole.

Really, is there any good reason why someone like that shouldn't be executed immediately?

Jesus Christ dude, calm down. The deer was bloody well dead. Animals are considerably less important than human beings in the eyes of the law, and killing an animal that is oftentimes hunted isn't even that big of a deal.

I personally believe that necrophilia should be completely legalised w/r/t animals, but that's another discussion for another time.

I don't. People should act like people and not some form of degenerate sub-humanity. Like someone else pointed out, if this guy continues to live in society, he'll probably end up raping or killing someone. Why bother putting up with him anymore?

I'll quote the lyrics to "On the Shoulders of Freaks" here:

"Ancient philosophy was framed by prodigies

Aristotle, Plato, and Socrates

And even though their thoughts were deemed

the aristocratic voice,

they also had a thing for little boys

Catherine the Great, so it's been said

needed large animals to be fulfilled in bed

From historic rulers

to the ancient Greeks

We're standing on the shoulders of freaks

"Isn't life pretty?" Ernest Hemingway once said

and then he put a bullet through his head

Salvador Dali's surreal paintings were godsent

You'd never know he ate his own excrement

Then there's da Vinci, for whom it required

dressing in women's underwear to be inspired

From the great romantics

to the ancient Greeks

We're standing on the shoulders of freaks

Truman Capote, needless to say

would be intoxicated 20 hours a day

From the modern authors

to the ancient Greeks

We're standing on the shoulders of freaks"

A Minnesota man is charged with having his way with a deer, but he claims it was just venison, the Superior Daily Telegram reports:

Bryan James Hathaway, 20, of Superior faces a misdemeanor charge of sexual gratification with an animal. He is accused of having sex with a dead deer he saw beside Stinson Avenue on Oct. 11.

A motion filed last week by his attorney, public defender Fredric Anderson, argued that because the deer was dead, it was not considered an animal and the charge should be dismissed.

The Smoking Gun has Hathaway's mug shot and a copy of the complaint, which states:

Defining animal to include carcasses would lead to absurd results. At what point of decompose would the carcass cease being an animal? Would picked-over skeletal remains still meet the definition? At death, an animal ceases to be an animal. As Billy Crystal noted in The Princess Bride (1987), "There's a big difference between mostly dead and all dead."

The Telegram quotes Judge Michael Lucci, who is considering the motion: "I’m a little surprised this issue hasn’t been tackled before in another case." Yeah, we're sure this sort of thing comes up all the time up there.

I agree with the lawyer

Because it's generally considered bad form in American law to execute someone for something they haven't actually done.

What do you mean? I really don't care if he had sex with an "animal" or an "animal carcass". He's still a freak who's stealing oxygen from the rest of us.

As far as I'm concerned, that's a victimless crime.

I don't like the precedent that executing those we deem as being freaks creates either.

Also, a person may be exclusively attracted to dead animals. They're not exactly going to go on a murderous human killing rampage based upon their copulating of a toad, are they?
