King Kamala 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 Be Kind Rewind did pretty damn well considering it was only in 800 theaters. I have a feeling it might it hit the Top 5 once it expands to more theaters.
Craig Th 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 I know it's in two weeks, but how much will 10,000 BC make? I'm thinking 60 million. It's a summer movie in March and look what 300 did last year. Granted, 300 is probably a better movie, but still.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 I say 10,000 BC flops.
MrRant 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 I'm thinking flop as well but that is because I have no interest whatsoever in that movie.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 I don't know anyone else clammoring for it either, honestly.
Aero 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 While I almost always see a commercial for 10,000 BC whenever I watch TV, I still have yet to see any that actually shows anything that even hints at a plot or something. I have no interest in it at all. I'm predicting flop as well.
Craig Th 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 No flop.
King Kamala 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 I bet it'll make $30-40 million opening weekend and then have a huge dropoff.
cabbageboy 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 10,000 BC also has absolutely no one in it. I took a look on imdb and the only person in it I could pick out of a lineup would be Omar Sharif. No stars and no discernable plot = flop.
Mik 0 Report post Posted February 24, 2008 Well, the director said in Maxim that he definitely wanted all unknowns in the movie. But yeah, I'm with everyone else. Absolutely no interest in it. Semi-Pro next week I will probably end up seeing, although it doesn't look spectacular or anything. I just love Will Ferrell movies more than I probably should. fazzle 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 I was planning on seeing Charlie Bartlett in 2 more weeks (that way I can use my free passes on it) but with it bombing at #14, and just $1.8 million, I'm not even sure if it'll be around for that long.
Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 I'm thinking a flop for 10,000 BC too but then again, I thought the same for Jumper and it's doing pretty good for itself.
Youth N Asia 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 I was planning on seeing Charlie Bartlett in 2 more weeks (that way I can use my free passes on it) but with it bombing at #14, and just $1.8 million, I'm not even sure if it'll be around for that long. I don't know if it's bombing, I can't find it anywhere local, so it's probably on a low screen count
DrVenkman PhD 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 The first time I saw the B.C. trailer I thought it was going to be called "First Action Hero". Sadly, it's not.
LaParkaMarka 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 I thought Day After Tomorrow would bomb, and that actually did really well. I suspect 10000 BC will be similar.
Ripper 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2008 But that movie had a plot that you could get from the previews. Seriously, what the fuck is this movie about? They crawl after some mammoths and...well...they jump around sometimes and yell....um....yeah...thats about it. Seriously, what the fucking hell?
In Credible 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Yeah I see it being like Pathfinder in that it kind of looks like it may be ok, but you can't tell shit from the trailer.
Black Lushus 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 Yeah I see it being like Pathfinder in that it kind of looks like it may be ok, but you can't tell shit from the trailer. Good call, I got a total "Pathfinder" vibe from the previews.

The Buzz 0 Report post Posted February 26, 2008 I got the idea that he had to protect his people from an evil ruler of some sort whenever I see the trailer, but I might be paying to close attention. Oh yeah and they like to show off their cool cgi sabertooth tiger.
