AlaskanHero Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 Good win for us, with my QB having a damn near flawless game. Also, I was looking through the other games played and in the South America AAA Zeta League, the Bela Horizonte Miners beat the Colorado Springs Fish, 107 to 0.
Cartman Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 I'm starting to wonder if i'm building my DE wrong or something. i have like 7 tackles and the LDE has like 17 so far.
Mike wanna be Posted May 4, 2008 Report Posted May 4, 2008 The game's biased to offense's right side runs, so the left side of the defense sees more action.
Maztinho Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Good win for us, with my QB having a damn near flawless game. Also, I was looking through the other games played and in the South America AAA Zeta League, the Bela Horizonte Miners beat the Colorado Springs Fish, 107 to 0. That's what they get those damn non-regional named bastards. Also I believe the Fish are an expansion team. Also the Miners are all like level 14.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 5, 2008 Report Posted May 5, 2008 Eh, we've got a team that gets the crap kicked out of it by triple digits routinely because the owner (who owns several teams) uses it as a farm team and trades his good player to his other teams for CPUs and scrubs. He's got like 7 punters.
Maztinho Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Actually, they've beaten the everliving shit out of their last 3 opponents. We did well holding them to field goals... 6 of them.
In Credible Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 I need flex points, if you are going to create a new player, please use this link http://goallineblitz.com/game/signup.pl?ref=5930067
Jorge Gorgeous Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 Actually, they've beaten the everliving shit out of their last 3 opponents. We did well holding them to field goals... 6 of them. Well we got shelacked by a good team, then. It's good to know we did well in it, though. This is way more fun than it should be. I'm seriously considering buying more flex points.
Red Baron Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 What is disturbing is that they fumbled the ball five times, and we only got it twice. I mean, my CB was involved in 90 plays.
Maztinho Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 On the plus side our next game is against what appears to be an expansion team with level 4 defenders.
Ced Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 I'm actually impressed that we only allowed one TD after seeing them run up the score against the last two teams. I was looking at their roster, and holy crap, having human depth is such an x-factor. Looking at the match-up, it looks like we should've been even, but the calculations definitely don't factor in the bench. EDIT: Craps. We might need another halfback ASAP since Vlad's apparently been called to duty and starts soon.
Mike wanna be Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 A new HB, you say? http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=224855 Obviously it's a drop off from what Vlad brings to the table, but it's a HB that'll save someone the 1200FP needed to just outright buy a level 4 and it's better than having someone start from scratch at level 1.
Cartman Posted May 7, 2008 Report Posted May 7, 2008 http://goallineblitz.com/game/player.pl?player_id=76151
AlaskanHero Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 Well, if we need more human characters, I can use some of my FP to create some just so we have some more warm bodies. Just tell me what positions you want, Ced.
Maztinho Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 I wonder since Vlad is in the military if they'd let his character be switched to a different account of someone on the team already. It's worth asking, what's the worst they can do? Say no?
Mike wanna be Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 They'd need Vlad to sign off on it at the very least. I know they've done transferrals of players between accounts but that was an isolated incident. EDIT: And the trade just went through, Abraham Simpson is now on Smartmarks FC.
Ced Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 Got a message from Vlad that he's got a friend that will be taking the reigns of Tanker in his absence. So we still have a lvl 13 HB and now a fresh backup. Sweet. Defensive backups would be nice, but we're not hard pressed for talent at this point now that the HB situation cleared up.
AlaskanHero Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 I created a CB, Wanderlei Anderson, so go ahead and send him a contract.
Maztinho Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 41-14 win, we kept it on the ground alot running for almost 300 yards as a team. Our next match is against another weaker D team, we should be able to pick up another quality win before getting tougher opponents for our next two matches. Also, knowing Portuguese it bothers me that the team after next is named Revolucion which is Spanish. It should be, Revolucao.
Red Baron Posted May 8, 2008 Report Posted May 8, 2008 WTF? Only 24 plays. I must have been hurt or something, or else.
Ced Posted May 9, 2008 Report Posted May 9, 2008 It was a pretty bad rout by the second half, so maybe the system started pulling in the secondary at that point. Have no idea otherwise. MGS with 21 pancakes. Holy shit. I noticed that they finally implemented energy/substitution strategies for individual positions, which is cool.
Conspiracy_Victim Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 Team just won 103-0. Offense had just under 300 yards passing and 411 yards rushing. Opponent had -13 yards rushing, 79 yards total offense, and punted 15 times. Our offense had 160 total pancakes, including one by our QB. Personally speaking, from the DT spot I had 6 tackles, a sack, a hurry, and a forced fumble (when I tackled the QB, I'm trying to figure out how that didn't count as another sack). Good day for football.
Ced Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 Looking at the current playoff picture, 4th or 5th place would be the best chance at surviving the first round. No way we make it out alive with the big three being the Ridgerunners, Gators, and Arsenal, who are all more than capable of pushing teams' shit in.
Jorge Gorgeous Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 I'm looking to make a skill player, WR or RB, or something? Do we need either of those? I noticed we've got a CPU wide-out getting PT.
Broward83 Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 24-10 win today. Our kicker went straight bananas today going 6/8 with a missed PAT.
Ced Posted May 10, 2008 Report Posted May 10, 2008 I'm looking to make a skill player, WR or RB, or something? Do we need either of those? I noticed we've got a CPU wide-out getting PT. Any position where a CPU is getting playing time is open. Depth at WR would be nice since we've already got a #1 and #2 HB. Our entire O-line went PANCAKE FACTORY INSANE~! with 54 total 'cakes while Camelot got nothing. The only stinging point? We somehow allowed a sack.
Mike wanna be Posted May 12, 2008 Report Posted May 12, 2008 Our secondary got torched. We need human backup safeties and probably at least one more human corner, the CPU isn't going to cut it.
