Much like most rap concerts (with few exceptions) its a whole lot of standing around, holding the mic to close to his mouth, running out of breath and then just saying "COMEON" and pointing the mic at the croud for a few seconds to catch it.

For the life of me, I don't understand paying for most rap concerts.

I went to a Snoop Dogg/Ice Cube/Dogg Pound concert last year, and was highly entertained... Granted the whole arena was hotboxed.

I saw Nas on a leg of the Rock the Bells tour and he had by far the best set. His rhyming was tight, nothing freestyled really but he was really energetic and passionate and he switched things up in the right places, and he had a lot of stage presence. Wu-Tang came on after him and they couldn't follow it, the crowd had already peaked.

Not that I was expecting a great show but I seen Three 6 Mafia in concert and was ultra let down. They showed up over 3 hours after the show started and were up for MAYBE 20 mins.

Best rappers to see live:

The Roots

2Pac - on tape, obviously

Snoop - always brings it

The Up In Smoke Tour - Snoop, Dre, Cube, Em, Xzibit, D12...and most of them put on consistantly good shows

Cypress Hill

Rakim

Red and Meth - fuckin rock stars, walkin on the crowds hands and shit...

ICP - KISS with rapping

P Diddy and the Fam - doesn't tour anymore, but the 97 show was emaculate

DMX - man, he keeps you hype the entire time, and the payer is fucking crazy.

Busta - enery like a mofo, intercts with the crowd

That's all i can remember off the top of my head that I've been really impressed with.

You need to see GZA in concert doing Liquid Swords.
