Exslade ZX Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Seems that serving King Booker paid off for Regal...as he's now taken the throne! Yea, that was lame.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Please let this mean that they're going to do something serious with Regal. Please.
MarvinisaLunatic Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 The return of Lord Steven Regal! Nah, he would have had to have won WCW's KOTR knock off to be Lord Steven Regal.
Mecha Mummy Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I love Regal and think it's great he won, and the way it was booked made both men look good, but that. Really should have been longer than it was. Did any of the KOTR matches go past ten minutes?
Diamonddust Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Every ruling Regal makes as general manager will now have royal authority behind it!
cheetoe Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Please let this mean that they're going to do something serious with Regal. Please.

foleyfanforever88 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Every ruling Regal makes as general manager will now have royal authority behind it! I really hope he takes this King thing as seriously as Booker did. It could be entertaining as hell, especially if he wrestles semi-full time too.
strummer Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 That was great suprise booking. Typical WWE booking has the young up and coming face overcome the odds and then BAM! a heel wins clean via submission out of nowhere. That was very mid 80s NWA booking there
JPopStarKami Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Wow, I guess you guys all like Regal. Didn't want Punk to win?
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Why is Orton always the first one out?
Diamonddust Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Wow, I guess you guys all like Regal. Didn't want Punk to win? Punk didn't need it, and face "Kings" don't usually translate well. Besides, the Money in the Bank title has become bigger in terms of "elevating" someone.
foleyfanforever88 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Wow, I guess you guys all like Regal. Didn't want Punk to win? I think we all would have been happy either way, but Regal winning hopefully means he's gonna start wrestling again, which is greatly exciting.
Hawk 34 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Why is Orton always the first one out? He has things on his mind.
The Truthiness Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Wow, I guess you guys all like Regal. Didn't want Punk to win? Punk didn't need to win it, he's already the MITB, they didn't need to waste the KOTR on him. The gimmick fits Regal better anyway.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Ha! Orton forgot to mention Cyber Sunday.
ChrisMWaters Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Hmm...wonder if they'll reference the fact that Orton and Edge were tag team champions together before...
ChrisMWaters Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Oh...and remove the two girls on either side of the star, and it'd look like Edge was wearing an evil universe's Homestar Runner shirt.
Lil' Bitch Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 What was the tournament set-up? Chris Jericho Vs. MVP Matt Hardy Vs. CM Punk ? ?
foleyfanforever88 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 EDIT: Beat me to it. I love 8-man tags; this one could be great.
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 Holy shit Cena's over in SC. More like holy shit, Cena is over while standing next to Edge and HHH.
Ripper Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 I hate big tag matches like this. because there is no reason whatsoever for the 4 heels not to beat the shit out of HHH when he was out there by himself.

I get where you're coming from, though it's not like HHH doesn't beat up multiple people at once already.

Because Cena, Kane, and Taker would run out to save him and there would just be a huge brawl instead of a match..
Vampiro69 Posted April 22, 2008 Report Posted April 22, 2008 If Chavo doesn't take the pin, I will be shocked.
