MMA Comments that Don't Warrant a Thread

Funny story of the day, brought to you via AIM:

my sex is artsy: Also, how awesome is it that Kang pulled out against Leite in South Korea?

my sex is artsy: Nothing says you're ready to conquer in PRIDE like being afraid to fight a prospect in your own country.

You, a Kang fan?

Really, shouldn't you know better?

EDIT: Oh, nevermind. Kang really isn't someone to get all jealous over. It'd be like me trying to claim Ruben Villareal.

I figured PRIDE would sacrifice a Japanese fighter to Hunt in the first or second round. Didn't expect TK, since He and Fujita are PRIDE's only realistic shot at a Japanese winning it. Yoshida might surprise people, but he's outgunned dramatically.

On the GP, I've been hearing all kinds of rumors lately. I think everyone knows about the Rulon rumor, but now theres shit going aroudn that Belfort will be in it. From what I know, it's just 100% rumor based off something Belfort said on a TV show in Brazil, or something. Personally, I dunno WHY PRIDE would bring in Belfort, inless they want to give Silva a chance at redemption. That's about the only reason I could see.

Randleman does have the uncanny ability to suck in every major fight he's just about ever had.

Belfort just plain sucks.

I give the edge in plain suckiness to Belfort...but I give the spectacular ability to suck so much suck within one fight to Randleman.

I vote draw.

Both of these fighters have the talent and ability to be the best heavyweight in the world.

The problem with Kevin Randleman is he get's really over confident with his skills and makes stupid mistakes.

Bas Rutten, who faced Randleman(And got very lucky with the desicion, considering most MMA fans had Randleman winning) and is very good friends with him once said this about Randleman on the sherdog board.

Man, I really do NOT have an answer for that. He is SO talanted, it's just crazy. He's a great guy, great personality, a great fighter, and above all a good friend who will go through HELL for his family and friends.

I told him many times that if he would really dedicate himself TOTALLY to fighting, who's going to beat him? No Ego trips here, because this is what I really mean (and he asked me too also), I really believe that if I could be with him for at least two months and be one-on-one with him, (not only physical, but also mental) I can make him better understand of what he is capable of doing, he says that he knows this, but I don't really think that he sees his TRUE potentional. Once he see that, he will leap so much forward as fast as jumps high.

And lets not forget what kind of childhood he had, the accidents, the tragedies, the man is truly indestructible.

I love the guy!

I'm a huge Randleman fan, and want to see him beat Belfort.

I've heard it rumored for awhile that due to the Chute Box/Hammer House feud that they'll do Silva v.s. Coleman.

Coleman's in the GP pretty much for sure if he can do it (aka not injured) due to beating Shogun. Silva looks like the most logical opponent.

WHY PRIDE hasn't announced the fight that would probably draw the most interest yet? I have no idea. It's PRIDE. Their loveably retarded.

Coleman's out of the GP due to injury. Maybe they'll surprise us and give us Randleman and Silva, which would go one of two ways: be a repeat of Arona/Silva 1(ugh) or maybe Randleman would be just crazy enough to stand with Silva which would be fairly entertaining since both are "swing for the fences" types of guys.

BR4L, and this goes out for everyone as well, what do you think of SuperLeague? I've been watching it on the fight network and have been really enjoying it. It's a bit more active than K-1, from what I see.

I don't get the fight network but SuperLeague is pretty awesome what very little I've seen of it. A bunch of MAX fighters got their start there.

Gimme a while and I'll have some MAX HL's up for you bastards :D

Lightweight fights are so exciting cus the guys don't hit so hard, so they can take lots and lots of punishment and afford to be more careless.

Stout's kicks look VERY fluid.

Some great leg lock defense by Stout too, nice little ground exchange.
