Sausage. Though I imagine this decision had a lot to do with the fact that most bacon I've had in the past few years has been turkey bacon. I love regular bacon and turkey bacon is an acceptable substitute on occasion but damn my dad for finding a way to include it in every meal I have at home.

Fuck you faggots. Bacon is the best food. Smoky cured pig flesh. Oh so good. And the fat so versatile.

I will say that my vote comes after a long stretch of poorly cooked bacon, and that Bacon Wrapped Turkey at a Brazilian Churrasco is like DIVINE!

I just like the versatility that sausage brings me, it can go from spicy to beefy, and you can toss out different meats with the sausages. I have a weird affinity for Turkey Italian Sausage.

Bacon; you can put bacon on anything.

Instead of chewing gum, chew bacon!

But I have long been a proponent of putting bacon on a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Learned that from The King.

And he died of a heart attack on his toilet. You want that to happen?! Do ya?!

Bacon >

Sausage patties.

I have to be in a mood for breakfast sausage, and even then, it's third. Italian sausage (even turkey, for which I've recently found an affinity as well) is a wrench in the machine of this post, though.

I really don't like bacon.

I'm a bit weird I guess, but sausages win out for breakfast and bacon wins out for just about any other time. Some good sausage links with eggs is a fantastic breakfast, whereas bacon takes a lot for me to get filled up on. Bacon, however, is great for putting on sandwiches and whatnot later on in the day, and as Agent mentioned, the fat is oh so versatile.

I hate those tiny little maple cooked links, though, bacon beats that shit every time. When I'm talking about sausage links, I'm talking a huge delicious fucking thing, the kind you can make later on in the day with onions, bell peppers, and swiss cheese, and that tastes like juicy, greasy heaven. If it's not that kind of sausage, then yeah bacon wins.

Tough call...I've always opted for bacon, but lately I've been going more towards sausage. I'll still roll with bacon though.
