Agent_Bond34 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2008 A grotesque video of a receiver breaking his leg when he runs into an equipment cart. I saw this last night. Terrible that this happened to him. I hear that Marshall is going to relocate those carts because of this incident, as they should.
Guest Tzar Lysergic Report post Posted November 1, 2008 I can't adequately phrase how much I love the "Givin' him the business" penalty. That should be the official name for the penalty.

CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 From Toronto yesterday. My Dad and I went to Gretzky's restaurant to eat, when we see Cake from Rent a Goalie. We got a picture of him, but then we went inside and Walter freakin' Gretzky was there! Not ten minutes prior, we were discussing how, if meeting any celebrity, we'd much rather have a picture than an autograph. As it turns out, we got both. He was almost too freakin nice. We felt a little guilty getting just one pic from him, but he took three, and offered to take more on both our cameras, etc. When signing (albeit, pre-made papers), he kept asking "anyone at home I can sign for?", and both of us saying "I live alone", he found more: My brother in Alberta and my nephew in Newfoundland now both have Walter's autograph. CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted November 6, 2008 Bob Barron had never seen this. If he were anyone else, it wouldn't necessarily surprise me*, but given his regular posting in the sports thread, I'm astonished. Come to think of it, Gundy did rag on newspapers, which is Barron's gravy train. *Red Baron and I have been known to have entire conversations when drunk in pissed-off coach lines, along with our mutual friend Nick; Nick and I did this a few weeks ago, but he didn't recognise "I'm a man, I'm 40!". CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted November 7, 2008 I didn't realize that Drew Carey liked hockey. I don't follow. Did the link open up my YouTube favourites, or are you saying my dad looks like DC? Both of those are reasonably likely.

CanadianGuitarist 0 Report post Posted November 28, 2008 Treble's post with the fans reminded me of something similar I saw on Best Damn a few weeks ago: I believe it was from this past season, I wanna say at Fenway. A fan kind of interferes with a foul ball as a left fielder tracked it down. The fielder wound up reaching for it in vain, but knocking the fan's beer all over him in the process. So as this guy's left with spilled beer all over him, another fan, pissed by the potential lost out, throws a slice of pizza at his head. They replayed it about five times, naming him the "Fox Fan of the Game". The graphic displayed as he was clearly swearing at the guy who threw the pizza. Remy and Orsillo spent the rest of the half inning playing CSI: Fenway trying to figure out who threw it. Remy even busted out the smoker's wheeze-laugh as they ran it about 150 times.
