Thanks for the Fish Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Whoemever was writing the four or shows after Vince was written off, is not the same person writing now. I think Steph is back.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 From PWI: *Pro Wrestling NOAH Global Honored Crown champ (and former ROH champ) Takeshi Morishima defeated Charlie Haas in a dark match. Morishima, who did not have the GHC title belt with him, came out to the old Orient Express theme song. Oh snap~! BACKDROP DRIVAAAHHHHH!
Thanks for the Fish Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Primo Colon? WTF name is that? Where is Eric Perez?
Ravenbomb Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Primo Colon? WTF name is that? The name of someone with good digestion?
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Batista had the "I hope I just didn't screw my knee up" look on his face after his victory. Kind of sad, all he took was a quick slip and he'll likely have a torn ACL.
Wally Balls Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Call me crazy, but I have a feeling Punk's reaction won't be as mind blowing as most think.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 They're in his hometown thats a smart crowd. It should be a pretty big reaction.
Exslade ZX Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Call me crazy, but I have a feeling Punk's reaction won't be as mind blowing as most think. Even if he didn't, for reasons on his own, the "from Chicago, Illinois" part of his introduction would. Point being, no matter what, his reaction will probably be pretty damn good.
Wally Balls Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 They're in his hometown thats a smart crowd. It should be a pretty big reaction. I know, but by the time he comes out I just have that feeling that a lot of the crowd's steam will be let out.
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Kelly is going to break her neck one of these days.
The Amazing Rando Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 It is kinda sad how many title reigns some people have nowadays. Mickie is already a four (and more than likely eventually five) time champ. I know it's a little different since they have only one belt they can really win (Chyna aside) but even Jericho is like an 8 time IC champ and some guys have numerous tag title reigns (some with completely different partners).
Thanks for the Fish Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 They're in his hometown thats a smart crowd. It should be a pretty big reaction. I know, but by the time he comes out I just have that feeling that a lot of the crowd's steam will be let out. I agree, and it was likely done for this reason.
franchise632 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Harley was a big part of Punk's early career...suppose he is going to do something tonight? That could be cool.
MFer Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I'm guessing Katie Lea won't be wearing that outfit too much anymore.
Vampiro69 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 They're in his hometown thats a smart crowd. It should be a pretty big reaction. I know, but by the time he comes out I just have that feeling that a lot of the crowd's steam will be let out. I agree, and it was likely done for this reason. Conspiracy Theory #1342
Hawk 34 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Harly was a big part of Punk's early career...suppose he is going to do something tonight? That could be cool. Chicago isn't far from his home-base and since Morishima worked the dark match, that's probably why Race was there.
sluggo Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 this episode of Raw is like a televised house show complete with clowns
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 I guess every little victory matters to WWE.
The Truthiness Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 They're in his hometown thats a smart crowd. It should be a pretty big reaction. I know, but by the time he comes out I just have that feeling that a lot of the crowd's steam will be let out. I agree, and it was likely done for this reason. Yeah, they couldn't be trying to pop the second hour ratings. They're trying to sabotage Punk's title reign. Perfect sense.
franchise632 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Uh-oh poor Jamie Noble...time for another squash match
Wally Balls Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 They're in his hometown thats a smart crowd. It should be a pretty big reaction. I know, but by the time he comes out I just have that feeling that a lot of the crowd's steam will be let out. I agree, and it was likely done for this reason. Yeah, they couldn't be trying to pop the second hour ratings. They're trying to sabotage Punk's title reign. Perfect sense. Your sarcasm would be justified if CM Punk was actually a big deal.
JustJoe2k5 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 How many days before Noble is released?
HollywoodSpikeJenkins Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 ...Why would you stop the match before a three count?
JPopStarKami Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 ...Why would you stop the match before a three count? I think JBL lifted the shoulder to continue the punishment, and the ref said 'fuck it'.
Hawk 34 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 How many days before Noble is released? He is a producer. So, it'd be an odd move.
franchise632 Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 Wow the lame finish trend continues blockbust annoucnement??
Ravenbomb Posted August 19, 2008 Report Posted August 19, 2008 They're going to announce that Raw is going to be in fullscreen and will be edited to be a PG13 equivalent.
