TSM's Red Sox Nation all gone to bed, I'm guessing?

I don't usually post while I'm watching the game.

Someone needs to show Craig Sagar where the camera is.

Forget the camera, someone show him to a decent men's store.

The playoffs just don't seem the same without TSM's usual cock waving fest between Yankee fans and Red Sox fans.

I do love me a pitcher's duel though.

Going off-topic, but neither do I. I get very angsty while watching sports and people don't like to be around me.

I only saw it once and didn't catch a replay, but it definitely looked like Jason Bay had a shot at Torii Hunter's RBI single that broke the tie there. I guess he was trying to make sure the ball didn't get past him, but I thought he definitely could've kept running and gotten closer to the ball to make a play. It wasn't particularly hard hit so it wasn't going to take off and turn into extra bases.

Dear god, make the pain of Frank tv STOP.

That guy sounded absolutely nothing like Morgan Freeman.

Between Frank and the godawful Bon jovi shit i'm losing my mind already and it's onlt day 1.

I do wonder what exactly is the demographic that TBS & MLB is aiming for with the Bon Jovi cross promotion. Are there casual fans really tuning in just to see Bon Jovi highlight packages?

Also anyone know what's the story behind the new MLB logo for the postseason? What is that, puke green?

I thought they put Matthews in to be a defensive boost over Vlad. That was awful.

I don't know how he rates in right, but Matthews was one of the worst defensive centerfielders in baseball. The reputation doesn't match the performance.

Martinez made it sound like he lost it in the lights. I'm not so sure about that.

It looked like he charged in and then realized it was hit harder and higher than he thought initially and he simply overran it. Big Papi didn't deliver though, so that error didn't change anything.

I like how in that one Frank TV ad they say "ALL NEW CHARACTERS" then show him doing the movie Misery, which is pretty old. (20 years?)

And I distinctly remember TBS telling me their was only one October last year, so how is that that I'm experiencing October again right now? I'm so confused!

That was the worst baserunning blunder since Jeff Suppan in '04. Guerrero wasn't even at second when the ball dropped.

EDIT: It's sad that Varitek's only reliable offensive contribution nowadays is a sacrifice.

EDIT 2: There's insurance that doesn't need a bailout (hey, it's late).

Vladdy continuing to show why he's A-Rod West.

He's got nothing on Chone Figgins who coming into tonight was putting up a career .167/.203/.258 career postseason line.

But he's fast and pressures the defense into mistakes!

I love how Caray was harping on how productive the middle of the Angels' lineup was compared to '07. Yeah, a whole run.

I feel like having a Molson before bed tonight.

These playoffs suck already.

If the Rays loose tomorrow, the playoffs will be close to a perfect shit storm for my rooting interests.

I’m slightly in favor of the Phils over the Brewers, but only because of I want the TSM bowl and I slightly like the Phils because I’m a Flyers fan and like the total assholery of Philly fans. Otherwise I’m inclined to root for a Mid-West team that hasn’t been in the playoffs in forever.

with the win last night, Boston tied the record for most consecutive playoff wins over one team at ten (1986 LCS Games 5-7, 2004 and 2007 LDS and last night's game), which ironically was also set by Oakland against Boston (1988 and 1990 LCS and 2003 LDS Games 1-2)

The Yankees have to have beaten the Dodgers more than that, haven't they?

Yeah, the Yankees have won 37 World Series games against the Dodgers.
