jimmy no nose Posted October 2, 2008 Report Posted October 2, 2008 I only saw it once and didn't catch a replay, but it definitely looked like Jason Bay had a shot at Torii Hunter's RBI single that broke the tie there. I guess he was trying to make sure the ball didn't get past him, but I thought he definitely could've kept running and gotten closer to the ball to make a play. It wasn't particularly hard hit so it wasn't going to take off and turn into extra bases.

I don't know how he rates in right, but Matthews was one of the worst defensive centerfielders in baseball. The reputation doesn't match the performance. Martinez made it sound like he lost it in the lights. I'm not so sure about that.

(20 years?) And I distinctly remember TBS telling me their was only one October last year, so how is that that I'm experiencing October again right now? I'm so confused!

I’m slightly in favor of the Phils over the Brewers, but only because of I want the TSM bowl and I slightly like the Phils because I’m a Flyers fan and like the total assholery of Philly fans. Otherwise I’m inclined to root for a Mid-West team that hasn’t been in the playoffs in forever.
