NFL Week 16

Recommended Posts

Yeah, the crowd's really going to be in the mood for a closing ceremony for Texas Stadium. I'd imagine a few of them want to dynamite it right now with the entire team in it.

Seriously. I know Deion's retarded, but what the hell?

San Diego is still alive?! How? Do they still play Denver once more? Ray Lewis is all coked up or something, that man is crazy.

Yeah, they play DEN next weekend so they need to win tomorrow at TB and have DEN lose at home to Buffalo.

Yes, and they hold the tiebreaker. If they're still alive after tomorrow, I may need someone to remove all the sharp objects from my apartment.

That was a really big ouch. John, Joe, Ray and the Ravens are in the playoffs. And hats off the Derrick Mason, that guy showed he has some big balls to keep going out there and ripping his shoulder out of socket. Now he should SIT next week cause they don't need him.

As for Dallas, AGAIN they need help after controlling their destiny twice this season. I guess they just love being the underdog.

ETA: Nevermind, I guess they aren't in yet. NFL Network confused the hell out of me with that graphic.

One stat I saw during the game was that Dallas had gone 11 straight seasons without having a winning record past November. Longest streak since the 1967-1977 Saints. Pretty staggering stuff right there.

Hahaha. That was awesome. I loved that look on Wade Phillips face.

I said to my mom "The Ravens keep trying to run the clock out, but they can't! They keep scoring instead!" Now if only it was that easy for everyone!

Nice to see Texas Stadium closed with the same sort of gut punch that closed Veteran's Stadium a few years ago. Now if Philly loses tomorrow @ Washington and the Bucs win at home, Tampa's in the playoffs.

I have a bad feeling that if the Cowboys get into the playoffs, they will win it all. I don't know why but it seems like every season it's a wildcard team that came in looking competitive but couldn't get all their ducks in a row before the playoffs. Dallas has that same confusion air about them where you KNOW they can be nearly unstoppable when they are rolling. It's just when they aren't playing well, they look like a team that would struggle to beat the Lions.

We know that defense can get to the quarterback and those long runs had a lot to do with guys missing their assignments on defense or failing to make the tackle. The secondary getting thrown around by McClain was interesting to watch but it also shows that it's something they can fix with being in the right place at the right time and then making the right decision on where to tackle.

The Falcons have a tough tough schedule here going up to the final week and Dallas still holds some cards if the Falcons lose. Course McNabb and Reid would probably love nothing more than to stick it to T.O and knock him out of the playoffs while putting themselves in. But the road is not impossible for them and they are a scary six seed.

They play the Rams next week and Dallas plays the Eagles.

Looks like the Cards are going to be a LITTLE bit out of their element today in Foxboro.

Hoot and hollar all you want guys, you're still playing in a snowstorm. You're not going to be warm no matter what, live with it.
