Cheech Tremendous Posted February 5, 2009 Author Report Posted February 5, 2009 I was 191 last night. That's a four pound gain from last week, but that was artificially low due to a stomach virus that sapped me of all my fluids. Overall, a total of four pounds lost in four weeks is about where I want to be. I'll update the excel chart and get it posted this evening. I was thinking we'd go one more month. That would be 8 weeks total. Does that sound reasonable to everyone?
JaMarcus Russell's #1 Caucasian Fan Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 239 (!) this morning. My weight goes up and down during the week, so this is likely on the low end. But, my new diet and actually being employed have done wonders. No more sitting around all day for me anymore.

CanadianChris Posted February 5, 2009 Report Posted February 5, 2009 I'll update into the summer if people want to do it.
Cheech Tremendous Posted February 6, 2009 Author Report Posted February 6, 2009 Week 4 updates Congrats to Still Fly who has pulled way ahead in both total pounds and loss %. That's quite the impressive weight loss for four weeks. KOAB gets this week's award for most erratic weight. He's had a 24-pound swing from peak to trough. That's insane. Overall, it appears that the Super Bowl was a rough go for this week. Also, if I don't get updates from Kinetic, Pbone or Cyber Mark by next week, I'm dropping them.
The Niggardly King Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 My hardcore diet of rice, broccoli, almonds, and fruits for this month will hopefully lead to me winning this.
BruteSquad_BRODY Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 *looks at dip covered cracker in hand* "Ah shit...."
The Niggardly King Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 It's dad's birthday and he brought home two big buckets of fried chicken, and a large double fudge cake... "Have fun with that rabbit food, Nature Boy!" This is tempting... but I shall overcome.
Guest Vitamin X Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 A black man resisting fried chicken?!?! This must be very difficult.
Copper Feel Posted February 6, 2009 Report Posted February 6, 2009 My scales are stuck at 153 (not my weight).
fazzle Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 People giving up on this already? I weighed in at 212 today
Cheech Tremendous Posted February 12, 2009 Author Report Posted February 12, 2009 Thanks for the reminder, fazzle. Updates to me in the next day.
haws bah gawd Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 260 here. I'm down to an XL shirt for the first time in a year and a half, and my 36 jeans are getting loose (yes I wear them around the navel).
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 194 Less cheese and biking to work again has helped with the weight lost. Also cutting down on the amount of food at feeding time (makes it sound like a zoo) has helped too. The rowing machines at the gym are a total bitch, but seem to be doing something - at the least giving me piles.
Cuban Linx Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Was as low as 230 this week, but put it all back on to be steady at 237.
Mik Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 Bad week. 225. I'm sucking at losing weight right now.
King Cucaracha Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 183 Not a great week. Didn't help that I couldn't walk anywhere for ice for most of the time.
Dandy Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 260 here. I'm down to an XL shirt for the first time in a year and a half, and my 36 jeans are getting loose (yes I wear them around the navel). Weird. I'm 230, and I wear an XXL shirt and 38 in pants. Of course, I do like the waist to be loose in my pants.
Obi Chris Kenobi Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 245 Fight weight! You haven't put much on considering the junk you ate Superbowl Weekend.
BruteSquad_BRODY Posted February 12, 2009 Report Posted February 12, 2009 245 Fight weight! You haven't put much on considering the junk you ate Superbowl Weekend. Down a pound from last week I should FITE more often

Of course, I do like the waist to be loose in my pants. It's just different ways people carry their weight I suppose. I've also been doing a good bit of weight training on the Bowflex. A friend of mine has been doing Atkins (I didn't know people still did that?) since just before Christmas and is down to 219. He called me the other day and was all excited about being in 40-waist jeans for the first time since before he got married, and fitting back into his XL shirts again.
