*Eric Young beat Kip James with a crucifix.

*Team 3D vs. angle/sting. Angle and Sting fight during the match. The rest of the Main Event Mafia come out and calm them

down. Angle won't tag in. Sting forcefully tags and brings Angle in the hard way. Devon rolls him up for the win. Jeff Jarrett's music hits and he comes out and tells Angle how its his company and how he can't let that happen. Sting says to Jeff, "with all due respect ill handle this myself later on."

*Scott Steiner vs. Petey Williams in a pole match for the headdress. Scott whips out a Frankensteiner. Good match. Why is Brutus Magnus jobbing already? I thought he was supposed to be a big deal (though why TNA thought a man named BRUTUS MAGNUS who is too green for the TNA style of wrestling would be a good idea for a big push is beyond me).

Looks like Magnus is getting Trytan-ed.

In other words: big build-up, couple of matches, and finally, TNA realizing he's not good enough / ready.

Sucks that Sabin was already fed to him.

Maybe they did listen to the chants at the PPV after all.

God help us all.

I don't think it was so much Sabin being fed to him as it was giving him a debut against one of the few guys with no match that could carry him. Rhino improved greatly over the years, but not to the point of carrying a match, IMO. And at least they didn't pull what WWE did to Mordecai and Kenzo Suzuki and feed him to someone that made him look like shit and killed him out of the gate.

The problem with debuting for TNA is, if you're not an established legend or star. The crowd expects you to be able to perform circus acts in, around, and off of the ropes. Not all wrestlers are able/ nor want to do that type of shit. Not saying he was great or anything, but I thought he had some potential if built up right. His promos were pretty decent.

I liked him at the house show in the UK too. He got plenty of "you can't wrestle" chants, but I liked the guy. His promo was pretty good too.

Empty Arena match? Could be good. Probably won't be.

And Petey jobbing again, can't they find anything for that talented kid to do?

I have a feeling the empty arena match leads to the rest of the MEM and Angle destroying Sting with no one around to stop the attack. That way he can take a month or so off and rest up from his recent knee surgery before finishing up his TNA contract.

I wouldn't have guessed it considering that I think the build up that all the guys were doing to lead up to the angle was very entertaining stuff.

Thank god they are killing off Magnus already, it appears. They must have listened to that Fire Russo chant after all, the right way. The guy is green as all hell and quite honesty, can't talk very well either. It's like he's trying to act like Kozlov, only as a Brit.....all around bad gimmick there, and then when the guy is shits in the ring and really isn't that good on the mic, there's going to be problems.

So this empty arena match is when exactly? Is that the main event of the next ppv?

Did you catch who the shrink was? Abyss even said his name.

Stevie Richards, who just signed with TNA.

What a wacky show.....seemed like I was watching a parody of wrestling during most of it, if that makes any sense. Steiner's promo was hilarious. In fact, tons of off the wall unintentional hilarity all over the place, not sure where even to start. How about them trying to do a serious handshake angle with MCMGs and Lethal/Creed while 70's disco porn music is playing? For what its' worth, the Sting/Angle segment to end the show was pretty good (as was the first half hour), but most of the rest of the show was goofy as hell. The ODB segment with Magnus was some seriously awful shit though. Foley's promo about an old match with Funk would have also been better served with, ya know, footage. All in all, it was a ton better than the ppv overall, in terms of actually being entertained, at least. And what's a ridiculous show that pays homage to Nash laying down for Hogan in true Death of WCW style than another Death of WCW mainstay, ahhh yes, the pointless prop on a pole match. Did Petey really even want to win the headgear, and if so, why? Wouldn't it make more sense to have a weapon on the pole to at least, ya know, use to win the match? Well, we all knew who booked THAT segment. Then followed by another goofy Joe promo.......his new gimmick seems to be a parody in itself.

Did the Homicide/Magnus match even air? I tuned in at about 9:20 and Angle was bitching out Sting after their match.

Shit, I thought that was on next week's show, but in fact they did take it off the show. Someone reconsidered the idea apparently to air it and ackowedge it even happened. Or else it was taped for Xplosion or something.

Perhaps Homicide is waiting until that Ultimate X match is over to cash in and get the title? As far as this show goes....it will the typical TNA silliness. It moves fast and is amusing enough while it lasts, but it's hard to really retain much of it the next day.

Did anyone think that show where the MEM took over everything got A LOT WORSE once things went back to "normal." I thought the Chet Lemon and Black Snow joke commentary was way better than having to hear Tenay and West, and Steiner's rant on wanting to build a wall around Canada was hilarious! That isn't a good sign for TNA as I enjoyed that bizarre show a lot better than their normal crap. As for the empty arena match, I always enjoy those, so I hope the one with Angle/Sting is good.
