CanadianChris Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 I seriously considered taking Kerry this round, and last round as well. Good pick.
Kahran Ramsus Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 I REALLY wanted Superstar to drop to me. I almost took him with my second pick.
mw679 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 The Great Muta With my next pick, I'm going international. IMO, one of the most gifted workers to grace the ring, and most likely will be in my main event. He's adapted his style to injuries and lengthened his career by changing up the image of his character. I think I'm going to pair him against Taker and play up the "mysticism" that each one possesses.

TheFranchise Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Jerry 'The King' Lawler The other half of my main event equation, the man who is defending the title against hot up and comer Triple H. 70's Lawler as a babyface vs 2000 Triple H as a heel.
foleyfanforever88 Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Original Orange Goblin Los Angeles The Rock [5] Ravishing Rick Rude [43] Razor Ramon [45] I'm sensing a tRend..
Kahran Ramsus Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 My draft got thrown out of whack a bit with Rude, Hansen & Graham going as I was looking at one of them to be my #2 heel. With that, I'm going to go in a different direction and pick a guy who can turn any Joe Schmoe into a credible heel threat. I've thought about everybody left on the board and thought to myself who would I be most upset about not having on my roster, and discovered the answer. The greatest manager of all-time... Bobby "The Brain" Heenan
Steviekick Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 CM Punk Very briefly, someone who is really versatile as far as style, heel/face dynamic and has a unique look. A solid person to have on my roster.

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan I was THIS close to taking Heenan isntead of Hall and basically running the Heenan Family/Hogan feud with the Rock. Great pick.
Maztinho Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 I had Heenan typed in for my third pick, but then went with Benoit.
Brett Favre Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Asshole! I wanted to pair up Benoit with Hansen. Although chances are he probably wouldn't have made it back.
Maztinho Posted March 1, 2009 Report Posted March 1, 2009 Asshole! I wanted to pair up Benoit with Hansen. Although chances are he probably wouldn't have made it back. Which is my reasoning for taking him. No chance in hell he'd make it to the end of round 4.
Steviekick Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 That's kind of the same logic that made me pick up Punk.
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 I gotta wonder about some of these "draft plans." Were you really just assuming your fellow drafters would pick utter crap?
PILLS! PILLS! PILLS! Posted March 2, 2009 Author Report Posted March 2, 2009 On behalf of King Cucaracha The fifty-fourth draft selection... "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson
EVIL~! alkeiper Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Sgt. Slaughter! A tremendously underrated worker who can compete equally as a face or heel.
Maztinho Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 I gotta wonder about some of these "draft plans." Were you really just assuming your fellow drafters would pick utter crap? *cough*Drury*cough*
6foot9 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 I gotta wonder about some of these "draft plans." Were you really just assuming your fellow drafters would pick utter crap? yes, yes I was. I was hoping you guys would pick nothing but late 80's wwe gimmicks and mexican midget wrestlers.
JHawk Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 I gotta wonder about some of these "draft plans." Were you really just assuming your fellow drafters would pick utter crap? The idea is "I'm the smartest drafter ever so I've got to be the only who wants this guy." It never works that way.
Kahran Ramsus Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 I gotta wonder about some of these "draft plans." Were you really just assuming your fellow drafters would pick utter crap? I'm looking more for specific types than specific guys, but once a certain group of guys is gone there is no point reaching for something you can get later.
King Kamala Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Damn, Stan Hansen was my top choice for the next pick. Did not see him going this early. Ah well. Win some, lose some.

I'm looking more for specific types than specific guys, but once a certain group of guys is gone there is no point reaching for something you can get later. That's what I'm doing. Vader... needed a viable face. Steiner was around, YAY, I like having a solid technician, there sat Roots Genoa, off the board he comes.
Garth Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 For my next pick of the draft: Samoa Joe He's someone who I believe could work really well against Jericho or Guerrero.
sivy Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 The British Bulldog. One of my fav wrestlers and a person who can have a great match with perfect or orton.
King Cucaracha Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Yeah Arn! Thanks mellow, I should be around to handle the next one.
King Kamala Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 Dammit, Samoa Joe was my next pick. Though I kind of didn't expect him to last this long and certainly didn't expect him to get back to me. Was hoping lightning would strike twice ala me getting Andre and Brock first go 'round. Oh well.
Twisted Intestine Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 You guys should stop picking jobbers. Can I pick for Tominator? I was going to pick Calgary as my city, so we must be on the same page.
Twisted Intestine Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 I would have also taken Angle. I'm going to PM Mellow with who I'd take next to see if we really are on the same page. Maybe he's me and I just don't know it. What? FFS.
tominator89 Posted March 2, 2009 Report Posted March 2, 2009 How about I make my own selection? Sorry I wasn't at my computer at 3:45AM, geez. Christian
