Former ECW and WWE superstar Rhyno was a guest on the latest edition of Get In The Ring on www.AudioWrestling.com. You can hear the new show for free every week in streaming audio on that site! Also visit www.getinthering.tv for more information on The Phantom, Sir Adam and their upcoming Mysteries of Wrestling Solved book out now. Big news was Rhyno announcing he will be working for TNA starting on the PPV on the 17th !! Here is a recap of the entire interview. Rhyno joins the show while on a date with his girlfriend. The host joke about feeling like 3rd wheels. Very funny, as Rhyno brings his girl friend air and she calls him the man beast. They talk to Rhyno about his divorce. And now he's in a speedboat with his new girlfriend. Sunday July 10th Blood Sweat and Ears Wrestling and Rock Music show in Ontario, Canada will be his first Indy booking. The hosts ask him about the ECW PPV. And that he showed the old fire he never showed in WWE. Rhyno said the last few years in WWE he felt like he was just spinning his wheels in the mud. And now he found his passion for wrestling again. Some people said it seemed he was trying to get resigned by WWE, but he just wanted to find his lvoe for wrestling again. And announced he will be working for TNA soon. The hosts told Rhyno he looked better than ever. Rhyno said hes been working hard to get in good shape. Adam asked him how it felt being at the ECW ppv. Rhyno said it was fun, just being around the old guys like Balls, Axl, Sandman and Dreamer. Picking up where they left off, and reliving memories. Phantom asks Rhyno about the WWE cuts. Specifically the Dudleys, and if it was an anti ECW thing. Rhyno says Vince always liked the Dudleys and wasn't sure the reasoning. They ask about some of the hirings not being as good as the firings. The hosts ask him about the rumors of why he was fired, and if it was true about the fight with his wife. Rhyno says it was true. He says she was a great girl, but not for him. That wrestlers are on the road a lot and its a lonely life for the wives. They were going through a divorce for 6 months, and he says it was his fault for bringing her to Wrestlemania. They ask him if that was the incident that got him fired. Rhyno says if it wasn't for that he thinks he'd still be there. Rhyno says he will be on the TNA PPV on the 17th. Rhyno says he's excited about working there. And he worked with Jeff Jarrett in Puerto Rico, and got along with them. He hopes TV is in the works for them. The fans ask him about a friend of his Joe E. Legend. Rhyno says he doesn't know why he isnt a star. Rhyno says he cant say anything bad about WWE. They always paid him. But the 4 yeas he was there he always felt like he was about to get released. And it was hell to go through his injury and thinking about needing another neck surgery. Rhyon says he's in good spirits and hopes the worst is behind him. Rhyno plugs the big Sunday July 10th at http://www.bloodsweatandears.com/ Music, wrestling, lucha libre and more !! Before they let him go, they ask Rhyno about Edge/Hardy/Lita situation. Rhyno says after going through what he's gone through, if you can find love there's nothing greater in life then finding love. And if Edge and Lita are really love then he's happy for them. SuperJerk 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2005 One more reason I hope they get a TV deal. I think part of the reason Rhyno couldn't get over in WWE was because he looked so small compared to a lot of the other guys on the roster. In TNA, he'd be a little more evenly matched size-wise. The Ghost of bps21 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2005 He'll be bigger than almost everyone on the roster. Jeff Hardy nearly stands toe to toe with Abyss.
Dark Age 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2005 To be fair, Rhyno was very over in WWE, considering his push, or lack of one.
RedJed 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2005 Good to hear he's in - Rhyno v. Jarrett on the ppv perhaps? I think a good starting point would be as a face v. either Jarrett and/or having a feud with Brown which would inevitably turn both guys in the process in due time, as Brown would be best fit as a face and Rhyno as a heel. Astro101 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2005 Good news. Been wanthing to see him in TNA for a while.
Epic Reine 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2005 So I assume he split with his wife who got him fired for fighting over the phone with and breaking a flower pot?
Placebo Effect 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2005 I was hoping the debut of Rhyno would be a surprise of the "Lights off, lights on, GORE!" type.
Corey_Lazarus 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2005 THAT would be awesome. Jeff Jarrett wins a match against somebody, the lights go off...they come back on...GORE! GORE! GORE!!!!!!

Especially since JJ has been a naughty boy. But Id prefer him coming in as a JJ goon and is 'used' to seek revenge. IMHO Rhyno plays a better heel. Id just like to see a Rhyno/Brown tag team. I was hoping the debut of Rhyno would be a surprise of the "Lights off, lights on, GORE!" type. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> That would be fab.
Hunter's Torn Quad 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2005 So I assume he split with his wife who got him fired for fighting over the phone with and breaking a flower pot? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> She was there in person. The argument revolved her wanting to take their daughter back with her to Germany, where she is from, and Rhyno wanting to be able to see his daughter. I assume the divorce is still pending, as I've not heard anything of them getting back together.
Garth 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2005 I'm really pleased to hear about Rhyno landing on his feet. He was always my favorite undercard guy in WWE and I loved his ECW work. It sounds as if he had found that fire that made him so good in ECW again, so hopefully we'll be seeing his old self tearing it up. I for one would definatly like to see him come in as a heel, give him a couple of PPV wins against people like Chris Sabin, Jeff Hardy, Ron Killings possibly, and bingo bango you've got some one who could realistically be challenging for the title against Raven. If the two could put together something half as entertaining as their Hardcore Title match from Backlash '01 then we'd be in for a treat.
UseTheSledgehammerUh 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2005 Rhyno is 100x better as a heel...why would you predict JJ Vs. Rhyno?
ChrisMWaters 0 Report post Posted July 10, 2005 I wonder if Don West will do a Paul Heyman impression if Rhyno does the gore. That's one of the reasons that I think Rhyno wasn't as over as he could have been in WWE after he returned from his injury: no Paul Heyman to go GORE! GORE! GOOOOOORE! when he hit the move. Silence 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2005 I wonder if Don West will do a Paul Heyman impression if Rhyno does the gore.<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Not unless he's watched some WWF 2001 tapes recently.
Magus 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2005 Rhino is indeed 100x better as a heel, but when he first gets in, you're not gonna be able to stop people from cheering him. At least, that's my prediction. I don't see JJ vs. Rhino happening, as I'm hearing that Matt Hardy is almost a lock to show up at the PPV. With JJ fighting the Hardy Boys, Rhino will probably come out and Gore the hell out of Monty Brown, leading to a fued where Monty can turn face while Rhino goes heel. I'm sure Tenay and D'Amore will clue him in on how to scream GORE GORE GORE at the top of his lungs.
