  1. Spot on.
  2. Here goes... Mongrel by The Number Twelve Looks Like You. Doesn't necessarily sum up my musical tastes, though.
  3. Underground hip-hop is alive and well.
  4. Magnum T.A. and Nikita Koloff had a Best of Seven Series in 1986 to determine the United States Champion.
  5. The former. I've been inspired to purchase all of one album that was released this year.
  6. Wow, that's bad. That's like "WCW bad."
  7. - Michaels putting Jannetty through a plate-glass window (that shit broke my heart. I was ten) - Bob Backlund shoots on Lou Gianfriddo (amazing angle) - Lex Luger showing up at the first Nitro - ECW invades during Mind Games in Philadelphia (possibly the WWF/E's first shoot angle) - Jim Ross heel turn promo (possibly the WWF/E's second shoot angle, just 24 hours after Mind Games) - Bret Hart attacks Vince in Nova Scotia (another must-see angle) - Eric Bischoff's first appearance up on RAW
  8. Best song of 2007.... hmmm... do I have to vote?
  9. God damn, you beat me to it. "The terrorists hate our freedom? I hate our freedom!"
  10. I'm dying to see the World Class release. I want to see how it turns out, and if it will hold up to Heroes of World Class.
  11. Armageddon is starting to look pretty good. It has the potential to be better the best WWE pay-per-view of 2007.
  12. Gotta go with the Texas Cloverleaf, although the Anaconda Vice hurts like fuck if you have ever been on the receiving end of it.
  13. Assuming that we're talking about out-of-print master copies, and not one of the many bootlegs that I own, I would save the following: Hard Knocks: The Chris Benoit Story (DVD) Somewhere down the line I will be glad that I kept this around. Starrcade '87: Chi-Town Heat (VHS) The only NWA master in my colleciton. AWA All-Star Wrestling (VHS) Rare as fuck cassette featuring Rick Martel, Jumbo Tsuruta, Michael Hayes, Verne Gagne and Nick Bockwinkel. I do, however, have binders full of non-commercial footage that are more accessible and easier to grab on the way out, but that's neither here nor there.
  14. Official- Gerald of Creative Control Unofficial- Louie Spicolli avec briefcase
  15. You know what the Midwest is? Young and restless...
  16. You don't have that backwards? No, surprisingly. I could never get past the smell. Then I got a job at a seafood deli when I was a teenager. After dealing with rotting halibut, I wasn't bothered so much.
  17. Hey, is TNA worth programming my unreliable DVR for again? I used to be into it a year or two ago (and I enjoyed a few of their weekly PPV showings many moons ago). I always thought that the less Jarrett, then the more interested I would be in the product, but I really haven't been swayed by what I've read and occasionally seen.
  18. I like a few songs off of their first album. Haven't really heard anything else. I assume that I'd really hate it.
  19. Caught the last few minutes of the show. That gash on V's arm was yuck city.
  20. I remember an ECW on Sci Fi episode from last year where Sabu was attacking Heyman, and one of the announcers (cannot remember if it was Joey or Taz) said "Beat him like he owes you money!"
  21. Fish sticks. Wouldn't touch the shit as a kid. Now I can't get enough.
  22. Whatever happened to Mark Henry leaving the company after Unforgiven? I liked that idea.
  23. WM. Hardy is out for 2-3 months. Let's hope. For all the buildup (4 months so far?) I believe that it is only fitting that the big showdown happen at WM24 (as opposed to a forgettable, throwaway show like No Way Out). Also, I was happy with the work that Jericho and Flair put in tonight. Y2J looked pretty damn good for a guy who hasn't worked a match in well over two years. I still enjoy Ric Flair more than, perhaps, 95% of the televised performers that WWE has.
  24. I think that it was as awesome as it could have been for 2007, without him cutting a promo on John Cena (I'd bet you anything that is what they intended when they began the viral campaign before Cena's injury). One of the most memorable moments of the year, easily.
