Right, Shine by Crime and the City Solution arrived, Smog is delayed. It's good, formed by Mick Harvey post- Birthday Party and it's pretty Nick Cave-y yes, but I think he took longer to become quite as accomplished and mellow. Nice. Dunno about the 'Unacknowledged classic' tag it seems to get just yet, though.

I don't have any interest in this project. Even if Heyman, Sandman et al were involved, it's pointless nostalgia, ECW should be fondly remembered for it's glory days but it ceased to be relevant or entertaining quite a while ago.

I think they should just have a guy nominated as the church with a big umbrella and stand around him. That's nice and communal.

I actually get quite a few (good) recommendations from here, and the butthole surfers forum, and I got a half decent rock encyclopaedia a couple of birthdays ago which has served me well. And me and my friends seem to have 'specialised' whilst having pretty much the same tastes, so I always find new stuff.
