  1. NICE~! A little roll of the eyes by Benoit, or perhaps a "yap yap yap" hand gesture would have sealed it for me. Even checking his watch would have sufficed. Unfortunately, Benoit had to play it like he was actually moved by HHH's yakfest. Don't even get me started on the "legality" of HBK signing Benoit's contract. Nothing good can come of this Clique crap.
  2. Is it me, or has Foley lost an appreciable amount of weight? He looked pretty fit (well, for him) last night. That, I think, is a definite indicator of his commitment to this angle. I hope he splits Orton's head open with a barbed-wire bat to the head. Kayfabed, of course. (Or not... whatever. )
  3. Sure looks that way. Considering all those "impromptu" double team moves they did (wink wink), I could see it happening. Perhaps they'll be allowed to win the tag titles in a gesture of good will considering how HHH destroyed their main event singles careers.
  4. Why can't they work around rest spots more creatively? Why just slap on a chin lock when you can change up submission moves like Benoit and Angle do? Slap on an armbar for half a minute. It's not working? Hook the head. Work in some reversals. Are these guys so lazy that they can't think of better things to do while they're lying on the mat? Sheesh!
  5. Sure, because Proof fans who have no interest in wrestling will surely plop down half a C-note to watch him perform for five minutes. Yep. All this hoopla over getting "celebrities" for WMXX is ridiculous. Stick to pleasing wrestling fans with good wrestling, and you'll get a good buyrate. Anything else is a desperate attempt to recreate the magic of WM14. No way will they garner as much publicity as they did with Tyson.
  6. Drawing power is not a concern when you've got Clique Powerâ„¢. None of this is surprising to me at all. I knew nothing good could come from HBK returning full time. Is it really too much to ask for a one-on-one Title match? Unless it turns into a Three-Way Dance (elimination style) and Benoit is allowed to pin them both, I don't see how this is helping Benoit in any way.

    Chris Benoit

If they really wanted to put him over, Benoit should not have just stared at HHH when he came down for his match with Mark Henry. He should have pointed to Henry, saying, "This is you, Trips", and then cranked the Crossface on him until the braids popped out of his head. Truth be told, though, Mark Henry shouldn't have been his first match on RAW. He should have been thrown in with someone who he could just maul effortlessly.
  8. Because that's not Vince's goal. He wants Diva DVDs and Playboy material. That's where he sees the big bucks. The wrestling is just the window dressing.
  9. Well, when the most exertion you get is taking on milquetoasts like Spike Dudley, it's no wonder HHH is channelling the Pillsbury Doughboy. He'll probably chalk it up to spending too much time in front of the TV "studying old wrestling tapes". Yeah, right. Not to derail this any further, but didn't Rico look kinda winded too in his match with Dupree? He was moving rather slow and none of his moves looked anywhere near crisp. Looks like he's on the HHHoagies and HHHo-Ho's diet, too.
  10. As long as the baby gets all his/her personality from Marissa, everything will be okay. ::crosses fingers and prays Mazola genes are stronger than McMahon genes::
  11. Blackman had a decent look to him, but was saddled with average wrestling ability and the personality of a wet cardboard box. Kinda like Ort... just kidding.
  12. Motherfucker... ... oh wait...
  13. I say keep them a team and have their finisher be stereo SSPs on both opponents. Ideally, since London's is better, Kidman should BK-Bomb their opponent as a set-up to London Calling.
  14. Does OVW still have a syndicated show?
  15. I like how they set up the eventual Chavo vs. Rey feud... that is, if the rumours are true about Chavo going to the Cruiserweight division. And yes, it's pretty obvious that Angle is behind EDDY~!'s attack. He'll probably reveal that it was his plan all along to provoke EDDY~! to fight his nephew, if only to keep him out of the Royal Rumble proper.
  16. That's precisely why this show worked and That '80s Show tanked. The latter was more concerned with pushing the '80s references and culture instead of giving us characters we could give a damn about. As far as Topher and the crew, good for them. Better to bow out gracefully than to overstay your welcome. (Yes, Mr. Austin, I'm looking directly at you.) BTW, does anyone think the show jumped the shark? If so, at what point?
  17. Steve Jobs > Michael Eisner Now I can watch a Pixar presentation without the stigma of having it associated to the Other Evil Empire.
  18. Did anyone notice after Holly was thrown out by Angle last night? The crowd started chanting "Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey..." before the sound faded out. Looks like Vince and Co. don't want to acknowledge the fact that regular fans hate him, too.
  19. Now that Edge doesn't use it anymore, he can use Novacaine (Downward Spiral)... unless Steiner has any objections.
  20. It only "broke" her neck. It didn't kill her. Nope, but marrying Tommy Dreamer might.
  21. It is Howard. And the Jamie/Nova cousin question was a joke. Kinda like how Nunzio was Jamie's "cousin" when he first started working for Vince. (I think.)
  22. ::hands Bradshaw a camera::
  23. Hmm... how to phrase this without seeming cruel and inhuman... ... ... ... BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! (ahem)
  24. The only thing I miss about them was watching them flop around like a fish out of water every week trying not to die a slow, agonizing, inevitable, and to me, totally satisfying death. Sorry, folks, but wCw deserved to die.
