  1. Crack my fingers and neck to start. Move on to cursing loudly at the game, then eventually turn it off. I used to smash controllers, but I stopped doing that after breaking two N64 controllers within a week.
  2. And let that be our legacy.
  3. Screw Genesis, you guys just do this for a couple hours and we'll all read that.
  4. Done and done.
  5. Well, in the interest of getting the show up, maybe me and Danny could send our matches to a different marker.
  6. Hell yeah, Cleveland. I'm gonna make a point of seeing the next two games in this series. If they're even half as good as this one was, they'll be worth watching.
  7. I'm slowly but surely becoming obsessed with Initial D Arcade Stage. Version 3 to be exact. It came to the local Gameworks a couple weeks ago and I've been playing it at every possible opportunity since. It's really addictive, if only because I want to constantly push myself to get better and see if I can put up some good times on the official website eventually. Only problem is, I don't think anyone else in the city plays yet. Everyone else I've seen sit down at the machine is either terrible or has no idea what they're doing.
  8. Yeah, but Spike topped me by a good three thousand.
  9. I'm not familiar with DVD Aficionado, but IGN has a feature (My Collection) that allows you to keep track of your game collection.
  10. Romance of the Three Kingdoms comes to mind. Crash Bandicoot had way too many games. It got to the point where they had to add gimmicks to his platformers for them to have any redeeming value whatsoever. Same goes for Spyro.
  11. Agreed, fantastic promo. Adds a whole new dimension to the Flesher - Jenkins contest, which was already one of the most anticipated matches on the card. Very well done. However, if this is leading where I think it is, I'll be upset.
  12. Not a great second episode. Hawkman's kind of a puss. But the first was very good, and I'm really looking forward to further episodes with the Legion of Doom. Grodd's moved up in the world since the Superfriends.
  13. So, he hid the mace and his costume behind the pillar to make a big showy entrance? Alright then. Also, did anyone else raise an eyebrow at Batman talking about flaming on message boards?
  14. Final Count: 13,190 This one got a bit out of hand. >_>
  15. Pedro shuts out the Braves. That was pretty cool to watch, at least. Plus, Jacobs is looking more and more like a suitable first baseman next year.
  16. MAIN EVENT SWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP "Deathwish" Danny Williams (SWF World Heavyweight Champion) v. El Luchadore Magnifico Damned if I know. But I really like my match so far. SINGLES MATCH "Hollywood" Spike Jenkins v. "The Superior One" Tom Flesher I sense co-write as well, but otherwise, Flesher'll take it. SINGLES MATCH Landon "La Cucaracha" Maddix v. "Urban Legend" Todd Cortez Gotta go with Landon. SWF INTERNATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP "The Dean of Professional Wrestling" Jay Hawke (SWF International Champion) v. Zyon Hawke's had the title as long as he has because he's really, really good. I think he'll win here. SWF HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP HOUSE RULES: WE DESTROYED IT ONCE AND WE CAN DO IT AGAIN MATCH Bruce Blank (SWF Hardcore Champion) v. JJ Johnson Blank seems really excited about this match and its stip, so I'll give him the nod. SINGLES MATCH TORU v. Marcus "The Mastermind" Ward The more charasmatic half of TKO wins. SWF WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS TWO ON TWO MATCH Wild and Dangerous (Wildchild and Johnny Dangerous, SWF World Tag Team Champions) v. The Crimson Skull and Ghost Machine Wild and Dangerous. TRIPLE THREAT MATCH FOR #1 CONTENDERSHIP TO THE SWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP Akira v. Manson v. Devon Walters Tough call, but I'll go with Manson here.
  17. lol
  18. They're not even going to finish with a winning record. How sad is that? Mets have a difficult offseason ahead of them. They've got a bunch of holes they need to plug and not a whole hell of a lot to trade for said plugs.
  19. I've already got one in mine, but thanks for offering. It's gonna be a bitch figuring out how to format it so that it shows up like I want it to on the boards, heh.
  20. By the way, I'm assuming that LDP and King are our announcers. Is that about right?
  21. Fuckin' A. Excellent card. This is going to be a fantastic show.
  22. Heh, cute bit with Flesher weighing in and making sure the match is under Heavyweight Rules. Poor Ced. Buffalo has the silliest anthem yet. Manson rages against the machine. Cool promo detailing the struggles he's dealt with since Ground Zero and the frustration he's going to take out on Maddix. I'm curious to see what he'll be doing at Genesis. Huh, didn't even realize until I started reading Flesher/Ced that we were in Tom's hometown. Very nice card-reading to open the match, though I don't appreciate the shot at Long Island. Love the part with Flesher schooling Ced Amateur-Style and King busting out the terminology. Tom pretty much just tore Ordonez apart here, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. Flesher hasn't lost a step. Great promo from Landon, talking about his annoyance with Cortez and his confidence that he'll beat him once again at Genesis VI. Maddix just runs down Megan in the last paragraph, making sure that Todd will be good and pissed off when they next meet. Really good match between Maddix and Manson. Nice bit with Landon teasing the 605 and just Bootscraping Manson's face instead. Cool Mount Crushmore/So-Dak Moment combo. King's commentary is entertaning and funny throughout the match. Very cool ending with Maddix first landing the Crash Landon and then locking in the Land of Nod, basically to show Cortez what's in store for him at Genesis. That match is gonna be great. Haha, Bruce is such a dick. I really like this character. Cool opening bit with Blank cheating like crazy and garnering a Freebirds/Von Erichs reference from King. Turns out to be a recurring theme throughout the match, as Bruce then uses his disgusting sock to choke Devon moments before a blatant Low Blow. Bruce eventually wears down Walters and drops him right on his damn head with a botched Fisherman Buster. Cool match. Jay Hawke adds a some nice build to his match with Zyon at Genesis, basically coming out and saying that he'll cripple Zyon at the Pay-Per-View. Zyon comes out and refutes that claim, only to get nearly locked into a Wing Span for his trouble. It'll be interesting to see how Hawke reacts to Zyon countering the Wing Span in their match. And...the rest is me. Very good show altogether.
  23. Ooo. I'm getting me some Mr. Driller Drill Spirits. Thanks for the heads up. Edit: Never mind, it's already sold out. >_>
  24. God, so many good ones from Merlin's Shop. "I'm afraid that, over the years, some of the pages have become brittle." "Like the missus here." "And pieces have...fallen off." "Again, like the missus here." ----------------------------------- "Looks like an old book." "DOO DOO DOO, DOO DOO DOO!" ----------------------------------- "Plus the polyps in my colon-" "Look, I gotta go!" ----------------------------------- "It's nothing more than a rock." "Like your womb!"
