  1. Thoth, here's what I've found out, as I've been researching too... He's (one of the - edit) the top babyfaces of HUSTLE (currently, he's only recently started up with them, in late '05), often teaming with Tajiri HUSTLE is a pretty weird dramatic-styled league, with it's M-Bison-esque villain leader (smoking a cigar, natch) He wants to destroy Hard Gay for some reason, and HG's eye-covering is protected like Luchas protect their mask. that's all I got. -Annie

  13. Name : Annie Eclectic Wrestler : Ann(ie) Onita Nicknames : Ichiban, Hardcore Queen Hometown : Tokyo, Japan Age : 24 Status : Face Height : 5' 7" Weight : 165 lbs. (more muscular, but not near Chyna. She's cute dammit.) Weapon : Kendo Sword (Singapore Cane) Looks: Long black hair frames the pretty face of Ann Onita, now going by her birth name in the federation. She wears a Powder Blue suit, black button-up blouse and powder blue tie, matching powder blue fedora. She wears dress shoes outside of battle, but if preparing for a match or in ring she will wear similarly styled wrestling boots, to which her pant legs will go over. Entrance: Silence. Nothing but silence. Suddenly... it's not so silent. A lone voice screams out to the arena. "I GET WET WHEN A PARTY HAS STARTED!" "I GET WET! WITHOUT EVEN TRYING!" "I GET WET! I GET WET! I GET WET! I GET WET! I GET WET! I GET WET! I GET WET! I GET WET!" *BOOOOOOOOOM* White and Blue pyrotechnics rush up from the top of the entrance ramp as "I Get Wet" by Andrew WK starts in earnest. The sparks break in the middle, allowing Ann "Ichiban" Onita to rush full speed towards the ring, sliding under the bottom rope and hopping to her feet as the crowd gets to their feet. If her opponent is already in the ring, she will walk straight towards them, mouthing off in her usual confident manner. If she's the first one to enter the ring, she will jump to a turnbuckle and sharply point her thumb towards her chest, her usual entrance spiel. She always carries her Kendo sword on her, which is held on her back by a strap that crosses her chest. Stats : Strength : 4 (time off has given Ann a quicker step, at the cost of some of her strength) Speed : 6 Vitality : 7 Charisma : 3 Style: Since I write this way, might as well model the moveset like it. Annie has two plans of attacks basically dependant on her opponent. Should she fight someone she can lift, she will go for a more technical attack, while heavier opponents (Consider 245 lbs. and above 'heavy') will get her speedster side. She's not brilliant at either, but is managable at both. A Jane of all Trades, so to speak. Signature moves : -Drop Kiss (Dropkick to the mouth) -Superkick (Stepping Side Savate kick, more fast than hard, not finisher material) -Shining Wizard/Black (whichever is easier to write) -Handspring Elbow to the Corner -Lionsault -Death Valley/Spicolli Driver (more likely in a hardcore match than a regular one) -Snap or Stalling Suplex -German Suplex -Millenium Suplex (Crossface Chickenwing Suplex, if she's worked the arm or back she can FLIP~! this into a Triple C) Common Moves: -Knee Strike to the Face (Usually by holding the back of the head and jumping up to make the attack) -Armbar Takedown -Bodyslam -Moonsault -Spinning Neckbreaker -Flying Cross Body (off ropes) -Flying Forearm (off ropes) -Any DDT variant -Springboard Dropkick -Hard, hard kicks. Lots of them, Annie is a former martial artist and loves to kick. Rare Moves: -Somersault Leg Drop Through a Table: only in hardcore/no DQ matches. -Annie T: Simple maneuver, setup like a normal DDT, but Annie lifts at the belt/tights/whatever to lift them up, hopefully into an angle where the body is higher than the head, then drives down in a DDT. Kinda a DDT/Brainbuster mix. Hurts, but it's more of a stun move, so if a pin is not somewhat immediately done, good chance of a kickout. -Splashdown: (Not possible if opponenet is above 280. Either catches a person running and lifts them onto her shoulder or lifts them from a standing position. As soon as they're up she immediately sits backwards while grabbing the opponent's torso and pushing them away slightly. She then grabs the head in midair and braces it against her shoulder before impact. Heavier opponents might end up with their neck on her shoulder, making it a lot worse upon impact. Can be used as a finisher to opponents with vitality less than or equal to 5) Incredibly Rare Move : -"No Fucking Way": Usually set up with a tag partner having an opponent on their shoulders, with their back to the corner. Ann goes up to the top rope, faces out of the ring, then backflips, grabbing the opponent's head in mid air, then dropping a vicious DDT with her momentum. This... is INCREDIBLY hard to pull off... please, ask me before writing this in, I dont even know if *I* will ever use it.... Finishers: For lighter foes - -Hollowpoint Driver (credit for name goes to Tom and Z for each respective word in order) This is Annie's revenge/grudge finisher. Setup like a Tombstone, but Annie lifts her victim by the belt lifting them up until both fighters form a 90 degree angle with the vertex being at Annie's head and her opponent's... well crotch. Annie then sits out, driving their unprotected head and body face first into the mat. In a Hardcore/No DQ match, will have opponent's head land on a weapon or the steel steps on the outside. If you're going to kickout, please have a high vitality (7+). The hardcore version should be even harder to kick out of, obviously. For heavier foes - -Daybreak Pedigree. Mastered from her first SWF lover, Sydney Sky. Preferred finisher if she's worked more on the head of her opponent. For anyone - -Crossface Chickenwing Clutch [or "Triple C"] Crossface chickenwing on ground on opponents back. When locked in properly, will arch back to create camel-clutch like pressure on neck, shoulders, and lower back. Possible to wriggle out of before lock is cinched in, but you have to be incredibly strong [7 or higher] to lift yourself up with your remaining arm to try to break it. Preferred finisher if she's worked more on her opponent's shoulder or back. -Annie
  14. Don't forget to post your stats. I mean, it's not like Drazon has ever faced you before or anything. ... whoops. -Annie
  15. At the very least, I didn't give you the dreaded Mansonosity treatment. Anyway, you can always pretend there was more to the match or simply forget about it all, excepting a mention of the loss on the next show... like I always do... Yeah, that's of no help at all. Don't worry about it, Manson, at least you got something in. I can usually turn a negative into a positive, it'll all work out for the best! -Annie
  16. Oh it's on motherfuckers. -Annie
  17. Yeah, no showed my return 'cause I have the incredible luck to run into a coworker's mother dying. Needless to say that won't be happening again, you should see me actually writing more. Shit... squashed. That's fun to kayfabe out of *shakes fist* Hmm... promo time, for sure. -Annie ps - tough loss for GOdrea, although Toxxic is sick with the writing. And that end promo... aw fuck.
  18. *watches Thugg break his neck. Again* Ebony and Annie, for HRADKROE LESBIAN HIJINKS! I hate you soooo much. -Annie
  19. I would like to nominate myself just so I can lose to Tom. Again. For reference, unless someone has usurped me, I am easily the most successful female wrestler in the league, capturing every title save for Tag and World, and to my knowledge still the only woman ICTV title holder in the history of the league. Not that it matters, since I would lose to Tom. Again. -Annie
  20. Seeing my sister like that... it's a damn shame. Damn shame. -Annie
  21. w00t @ winning it all in 2014 ... w00t @ winning it all in 2015 ... w00t @ me never checking this thread! -Annie
  22. Damn snub that's alright, we'll show 'em in the playoffs. -AG
  23. ...is that. That's a fascinating part of the angle that hasn't been brought up until now, and adds a bit more of a jagged edge to everything. I think you should do a little more with this and explore Ann's mindset on the fact without her sister, there really is no-one else. The lone wolf is the lonely wolf, but this is one that's been surrounded by people almost her entire career. -Z whoa... good point. I hadn't thought of that actually, as I'm really trying to hammer in the paranoia taking hold in Ann's brain. She's a paranoid scared girl, folks, just remember that. Plus I couldn't think of another way to bring the concussion into play, the real reason for this promo -Annie
  24. She looked at her mirror image. But it wasn't a mirror, it was her twin. Her sister. Supposedly identical but at this moment they were in different worlds. The sister known as Allison Onita sat in the sterile waiting room on the east wall, flipping through a People Magazine, reading about celebrities, the latest movies coming out... trivial nonsense. The sister known as Ann Onita sat at the west wall of the sterile waiting room, deciding to look back down at her Sporting News magazine. Competition, pure and simple, and the speculation of was all she ever needed to read. But she wasn't reading. Her built-in paranoia wasn't letting her relax. People would often stop the twins on the streets of Yokohama, politely asking about how it felt to be walking and skipping with someone exactly like you. The two young girls would be subject to rhetorical questions, asked to no one and not expecting answers from the targets. Do they do anything separatly? Can they hear what each other is thinking? How eerie, wouldn't it just creep you out to have to wake up with someone that looked exactly like you? It didn't used to be eerie for Ann Onita. She used to think that she knew what Allison is thinking. But she's sure that right now, they've never been more separate. "Why are we here?" asked Ann, pretending to be reading an article about the NFL Draft, "There's nothing wrong with me." "You may think there's nothing wrong," starts Allison, "But it's been obvious since your match with Insane Luchadore. You've been taking a lot of damage, especially to the head. I want to make sure that you're fine." Or sneak behind my back and tell Tom just how hurt I really am... thought Ann. Silence permeated the waiting room. Why? Why is she going away from me? Doesn't she know that she's all I have left? No friends... no lovers... no other family... She killed that thought immediatly. She couldn't remember the circumstances of her parent's deaths right now. "...Miss Onita?" Both sisters looked up as the nurse looked at both women in a confused manner. "Ann Onita?" she asked. Ann sighed, "That's me," she said as she put down her magazine and walked with the nurse towards the doctor's office. She didn't have to be here. She knew what was wrong. You don't thrive in the hardcore division without recognizing the signs. Headaches, dizzyness, nausea and sleep troubles all added up to one thing: a concussion. She sat down on the wax paper and let the doctor stare into her eyes, flashing lights and tapping parts of her head. She could probably have given herself the examination and come up with the same conclusion. "Well Ann, I won't sugarcoat it, you have a low-grade concussion," said Dr. Bloomer, "You should rest up for three to four days, take it easy... I wouldn't do any heavy exercise until Monday at least." "I know, doc. I know," said Ann, taking her belongings and walking out of the office. The nurses put away her file in the office as she walked by, opening the door and walking past her sister who was talking on her cell phone. "Ann? You okay? What was the diagnosis?" she asked, trying to get Ann to stop and turn to her. Ichiban just kept on walking. "You know damn fucking well what the diagnosis is. Go ahead and tell him, I know he's on the other end," said Ann. Ann slammed the door to the practice closed behind her, walking towards her Miata in the parking lot. Inside the building, Allison kept the phone to her ear but didn't say a word. "What was that?" asked the voice on the other side. "Uh, nothing... I don't think I can say anything right now. Look, I'll talk to you later," she said as she hastily folded the phone back up and threw it in her purse. Shit... she thought, how did she know? END
