SWF Fight Before Christmas Comments
TheBostonStrangler posted a topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Well, from what I've skimmed, congrats to the following: - Duran - Danny - Craven - HVT - Janus - Matthews A big, big, BIG shoutout to Ejiro Fasaki for winning the big one. Feels good, don't it? Nice job. And I'd love it if people would read my match with Erek. It was a fitting way to cap off our feud (IMO), and I'd appreciate it if people at least read it. I spent most of my Tuesday blowing off studying for the finals I had the next two days in order to write 8,000 words for it, and this angle took a lot of work from me and Erek over a long time. I plan on reading this entire PPV over X-Mas break, and I urge everyone else to do so as well. -

*smacks Ejiro 28 times with a semi-frozen sturgeon* That should teach you your lesson. But you are forgiven, my son. -

Twas The Fight Before Xmas Predictions

Why must you mock me so? -
I'd love to get Benoit vs. Lesnar at Wrestlemania, since I'd be there. As long as Benoit wins, it's all good.

Twas The Fight Before Xmas Predictions
TheBostonStrangler replied to HVilleThugg's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Annie "Ichiban" Onita versus John "The Sinner" Duran versus Stryke versus Johnny Dangerous Winner: I'll take Duran Duran in this one, although Stryke, if he shows, will make it close. Dangerous isn't to be counted out either. Everyone says Annie disappeared, so I'll believe it. "Judge Mental" William Hearford versus ??? WINNER: Go Judge Go! Xstasy versus Wildchild versus Michael Craven versus Crowe versus Linchpin WINNER: I'll take WC in an upset win here. Linchpin, Craven, and X will all be close. Crowe's been out of action for a while here, and I think he might be a bit out of his league with this matchup. Still, you never know. Va'aiga versus Terrence "Janus" Bailey WINNER: I'll take Janus, but not by much. "The Franchise" Mak Francis versus the Hville Thugg WINNER: Generation Mak shall take a great step forward here. Dace Night versus Charlie "Grappler" Matthews WINNER: Dace should take this one. The Boston Strangler versus Erek Taylor WIINER: Well, I obviously can't predict. However, Erek and I are both writing, and I assume Erek is writing himself to win. This should be a nice way for us to end the feud once and for all. AND THE MAIN EVENT… "THE SUPERIOR ONE" TOM FLESHER VERSUS EJIRO FASAKI WINNER: Ejiro to score an upset where I couldn't (in a 2/3 falls match against Flesher in the ME of a PPV), and become the new World Champ to end the year. -
I was at the 2003 Royal Rumble, which was in Boston. The crowd was great, BTW. We just booed the hell out of Steiner, since he put on one of the worst performances I had ever seen in my life. We gave Benoit a damn standing ovation after losing, so I think the crowd was superb when they actually gave us a reason to get loud.

The Dames' Diatribe on WWE Raw: 12/8
TheBostonStrangler replied to The Dames's topic in The WWE Folder
I'm sure that Jericho and Christian will have some sort of disagreement in this match when Jericho refuses to fight them. It's a pure storyline match, and this thing is gonna go until the Rumble at least. It's not over yet. Like the others said, Christian was excited as all hell about the match, and Jericho was disappointed. All 8 people watching RAW with me (including a couple who didn't even know what the background to the story was) figured out where this was going, so I'm pretty sure that there's gonna be some conflict between Jericho and X at Armageddon. -
This is a good storyline right now. I'm looking forward to the Jericho face run which is on the way. Hopefully things go well there.

Heels: (no real order) 1) Ejiro Fasaki 2) Erek Taylor 3) HVT Faces: 1) Tom Flesher 2) Mak Francis 3) I'll let my ego take over here and put myself. Dace or Xstasy could both work here, though.

For whatever reason, they didn't run the episode here in Boston tonight. I was really pissed off. Instead, we got the Best Of Steve Martin.

12/5 SWF "Lockdown" HOLT Report
TheBostonStrangler replied to Mr. S£im Citrus's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
I gotta say, I thought I'd be a little higher here, considering I basically gave my retirement promo here. I think that a former World Champion saying a heartfelt goodbye to the fans deserves a bigger pop than Dace winning a match. -
I'd go with Kansas City JUST on top over the Patriots. Kansas City has been dominant, but their division is really bad, and they haven't had a lot of real challenging teams. The Patriots probably have the most impressive resume in football, with an 8 game winning streak that includes the Dolphins in Miami, the Colts in Indy, and the Titans at New England. I think that when the Patriots are fully healthy, they're probably the best team in football. And to anyone who thinks they're getting lucky, you don't get 3 lucky wins like that over Miami, Tennessee, and Indy. They're very well coached, they don't take themselves out of games, and they win. It's like watching the 2001 season all over again. And my rankings are: 1) Kansas City 2) New England 3) Tennessee 4) Indy

Yeah, us homosexuals had a big role in it. Although don't give the damn right wing conspiracy any credit. They missed the meetings, and then tried to hog all the glory. It was mainly the gays and the Jews who did this to you.

The Lesnar/Big Show Stretcher Match really was a good one, and deserves more credit than it's gotten.

Whos been hurt most having to wrestle WWE style
TheBostonStrangler replied to cynicalprofit's topic in The WWE Folder
I'd go with Rey Mysterio, Ultimo Dragon, Brock Lesnar (the guy can mat-wrestle pretty damn well, but he's been kept to very little outside of the power moves), and Tazz as my four picks. -
Kurt Angle recruiting Bret Hart
TheBostonStrangler replied to OldSchoolWrestling's topic in The WWE Folder
I still think that Austin vs. McMahon at Wrestlemania XX, with special guest referee Bret Hart, is the way to go. You get to give Bret a farewell where he screws McMahon over, Austin and McMahon leave, and it all works. -
SWF Lockdown Card - November 25th!
TheBostonStrangler replied to the.weej's topic in Smarks Wrestling Federation
Good work, Stryke. Hopefully you'll keep it going this time, since you're a pretty good writer when you're on. -
Galatea is now my new hero.
-
You only like it since I mentioned you and Judge. But I have been writing the character since July of 2001, so I have a pretty good connection to it. I appreciate the props.

What is your real name? Albert Katowski. Where do you live? I just moved out of a nice loft I had in Southie into a 2-bedroom apartment in the Back Bay. What's your marital status and do you have kids? I'm single. Perfectly happy that way. Who's your best friend outside of kayfabe? Hmmmm...outside of kayfabe, I have to say that Chris Wilson and I always got along well. I miss having Chrissy cracking jokes on the long road trips. He got to the top, but he never stopped acting like one of the guys. Besides Chrissy, I get along real well with a guy down in the JL, Jimmy Liston. Good kid. Who's your favourite WWE Wrestler? I'd go with Chris Benoit. Despite being a big guy, I have a ton of respect for the smaller guys who really know how to put together a match, like a Benoit does. He always makes his opponent look like a million bucks, and I'd love to work with him. Who's you favorite Other wrestler (US Indies or Japan)? In the indies, I'm a big Chris Daniels fan. That guy NEEDS to be given a contract in the big leagues. What's your favourite match to watch? Wrestling-wise, I love Angle vs. Benoit at Royal Rumble 2003. I was at that one, and it really was the best match I've ever seen. But my favorite overall would be Mick Foley's first title win. I swear, that match is the pinnacle of everything wrestling stands for combined into one match. I was lucky enough to be in Worcester that night, and I'll never forget it...well, I forgot some of it, since I had a little too much to drink, but I still remember the important stuff. Who's your favourite Band or singer? The Dropkick Murphys. Great Irish punk band out of Boston. Totally worth checking out. What's your favourite album? I gotta give props to The Joshua Tree. U2 is pretty good, but that entire album is incredible, and the first three songs on that album is possibly the greatest start to an album ever. What's your favourite song? A favorite? Ouch...Um, I guess I'd say Back In Black. It's just so badass. I always wanted to use that as a theme song, but that's reserved for the most badass of the badass. Even Brian isn't badass enough to use that. What's your favourite film? Rocky. I know how it is to try and pull yourself out of the gutter in the city and take advantage of what opportunities come your way. It's really inspirational, and it really gets me going each time I see it. Which sporting teams/franchises do you support? Anyone out of Boston. I'm a MASSIVE Red Sox and Patriots fan, I love the Celtics, and I even cheer for the Bruins. What sports do you play? I played youth baseball, hoops, and football, but I haven't played any of those since I was 14 or 15. Hearford and Flesher actually brought me out to try playing golf the other day. What a disaster. I think the groundskeeper is still out there resodding the entire course. and finally... if you weren't a wrestler what WOULD you be? I have no clue. Probably unsuccessful at whatever it was I did. Wrestling saved my life, no question.

I've found that my friends who listen to rap are generally more close-minded than my friends who listen to rock, so I'll say rap.
