Beyond debating the merits of the plan, I just don't understand where they're going to get the troops from! A draft? at least raising the pay for soldiers? Their recruitment is well low of their expectations now. Where are these people supposed to come from? Honestly! I mean, I applied to the Air Force half a year ago. I'm a college graduate, in engineering, no criminal record, all that jazz. eminantly hireable. And then, I told the recruiter I have asthma. Dismissed right away. Doesn't matter that I haven't had an asthma attack in 3 years, and only my allergy to dogs causes it. Dismissed. Shit, those people that MIAed to Canada just had to say they had a cough.

Don't hate. Raven go-cart chase. On the subject of hardcore, man I was a mark for Sandman. Entrance+beer belly+looking exactly like Rutger Hauer=GOLD. Nevermind, we'll have fucking Bischoff slap the cig out of his mouth and treat him like a bitch. That's logical.

I was a HUGE mark for Razor Ramon. He was my favorite wrestler when I started watching. I was always a big, big mark for Bret and Owen Hart too. Much of this is owed to the fact that Bret/Owen WMX was the first really great match I'd ever seen. And when Hart and Michaels had their feud, man did I hate Michaels. A lot of that could have been attributed to McMahon blustering "he may have the girls after him, but he's a MAN'S MAN." I also fucking loved RIck Rude. He always made me laugh. Matter of fact, he still does, and I can watch any shitty Rude match and still enjoy the hell out of it. I just marveled at the consummate cocky/chicken-shit heel character he was. To this day, if I see him do the hip-swivel "oh my back!" spot, I will crack the fuck up. And he probably did it every match. On the flipside, I really didn't like Randy Savage back in the day. I think I just wrote him off as a Hogan clone, which is way off the mark. I definitely like him now. That crazy, coked-up character, and skills to boot.

In terms of misleading trailers: Excorcism of Emily Rose was apparently a legal drama. Primeval is apparently a giant crocodile movie. Why would you mislead your viewers as to the nature of your film? Oh, yeah. A giant crocodile movie is stupid. THEN DON'T MAKE IT.

The City of Lost Children trailer is easily the best I've ever seen. Second is probably Big Lebowski. These were the trailers where I had no idea about the movie at all, and I said I MUST SEE THIS NOW. Thankfully both were really good movies. The trailers are eaily found on youTube.

I'm spent with the whole stealth genre. I just am. From somone Who loved MSG. And Snatcher. I just, at this point want to blow shit up. Hence I've been playing Bangai-O. I'ma go play Chrono Trigger and Bangai-O. Yeah/

All I know is if Squeenix decides to go to multiple conseoles, which it is already, slowly doing, PS3 is FUCKED. Invincibly fucked. Format wars (how's those minidiscs and PSP movies doing?) + Ridiculously high price. + A long standing history of shitty, shitty, shitty, shitty, shitty hardware = FAILURE. Don't get me wrong, there's a shitload of great PS/PS2 games. Shit, the last game I (re)played was Suikoden II on my Ps2 cute adorable mini version. However, I went through 2 Ps1s and 2 PS2s, If they think I'm going to blow an entire paycheck on their shitty system, fuck them. THey made their own bed. PS3 is going to fail, from an objective outlook. And they have no one to blame but themselves. P.S. Playstation was the only division of sony to make a profit. They better suck Square/Enix's dicks, because if they lose them Sony, the corporation is DONE.

Also has a movie coming out. And has a well animated one out now which I should check out. Nah, It'll probably something like Iron Fist dies. DC has killed/teased killing some really well-loved b-list guys. I can't think of many well-liked marvel b-listers, outside of the mutants. Well Hawkeye, but there goes that.

Re: the ActiVator!!!!! Oh, My God. I have never seen this until now. It's just indescribable. It must have cost a hundred bucks. And it was just a shitty octagon so that you could flail about to simulate pushing buttons? Jesus Christ Almighty. I mean, it honestly makes me want to weep empathetic tears for kids who got this. The Saturn could have been killer, with some arcade-perfect fighter ports. (should've tried to get with SNK) ANd a handful of legendary games which were ALL released in extremely rare quantities. Panzer Saga, Shining Force 3, Dragon Force, Radiant Silvergun. The Saturn was slatly more popular than the playstation in Japan on launch, IIRC. Sega of America was clearly just a shitty companay. On the plus side, the Dreamcast costs next to nothing and has lots of good games, which costs next to nothing. Good times.

Who does Jason Bateman play? He gets an 'and' credit, yet out of the few reviews I've read, he isn't even mentioned.

Al Franken is very rarely funny, and is totally negative. He's a bad, very liberal commentator. And his 'dialogue' skits suck. The thing is, he's hardly a blip on the map. THen you take: O'reilly, Limbaugh, Savage et al. Just as bad on the other side of the map; the difference is, they're the most listened to talk show hosts in the nation! And they're fucking trash-throwing abominations! Didn't Ann Coulter have one or more #1 best sellers? She's a vile, vicious, hateful bitch. That's the difference.

Joyce's death was incredibly sad, but that was a great episode. It does hit close to home, but that's sort of the point. Anya's death did piss me off. Stabbity, then a 2-second eulogy by Xander. Fucking lame. I knew what he was going for, and he did the same thing, to much, much better effect when It didn't help that the special effects when Anya died literally made me laugh the second time I watched it.

I'm sort of thinking Thing will die. Just as a hunch. He's been nuetral, is the 'voice of reason' he dies, everyone mourns. He's a well-like character. Is ressurected in a couple years. Again, just a hunch.

As an aside, has anyone checked out TYlor? 3rd best anime ever, with the best ending ever. It's pretty old-school. Yet it;s absolutely hilariours, good characters, and again, the best ending ever.

Just wanted to say: Yotsuba&! e.g. Yostubato is the fucking awesomest thing ever. It's done by the guy (Azuma something) who did the incredible Azumanga Daoih. I won't say it's better than the Azumanga anime, but it's definitely better than the Azumanga manga. Jumbo is the SHIT. It's absolutely hilarious. Combine Osaka and Tomo with Chiyo-Chan, and you have Yotsuba. She's just fucking an adorable spaz. Many funny secondary characters. I looked, the collections are pretty cheap, even cheaper used. I really want to read some Iron Wok Jan. About a demonicly good chef in the Iron Chef vein.

Pushing RVD, CMP and Monty Brown can only be good, though. Not a very good show, but at least it's a good direction. Montry Brown's just ok. But he does have some good charisma, and makes weak moves (aka THE POUNCE!) look actually good. He's new and unique. I'll take him gladly over Test or the erstwhile Big SHow. Test, I thought, was a good, if uncharasmatic big guy in the WWE. He had a couple really well-executed moves, Yakuza kick and Savage elbow being really well done. THe whole thing, is he was, for at least two years, WWE fans saw him, and saw him as a jobber. ECW needs new guys to set themselves apart. Punk, Brown are good examples. I also think RVD should be one of the final four for the Rumble.

For some reason I was really good at Double Dragon II. I could beat it every time. DOuble Dragon I had nasty-ass last level, tho. Really, more games should have had passwords back then.
