  1. I really wish FSN Wisconsin would stop showing these meaningless Bucks games so I can actually watch the Brewers.
  2. This is more Austin than Columbine.
  3. I read Gatsby for the first time since high school. I actually got it this time around.
  4. Tommy Thompson stole the show yesterday at the big GOP dinner in Iowa.

Valuev lost today. Marciano's record remains untouched.
  6. I think Yost will be fired this year if the Brewers don't live up to their highest expectations in decades.
  7. My Morning Jacket will be playing with the Chicago Youth Symphony.
  8. Jeff Suppan finally earning that paycheck.
  9. Seeing Roky Erickson will be cool.
  10. Is this really true?
  11. I couldn't help but like Penny & Me from the cd they made a couple years ago.
  12. I'd rather it be the end of razateca.
  13. Almost 27,000 posts of that.
  14. Slaughterhouse 5 eclipses most all anti-war books due the autobiographical back-story Vonnegut brought to it. How anyone could find it to have more 'whimsy' than Catch-22 is really beyond me. Is that one of those examples of saying two books are very similar when really they're not at all, like Catcher/Rye and Separate Peace?
  15. funny cuz it rhymes
  16. I'm agreeing with the Petty choice. Not a big Eagles fan But, judging by the record sales of the Eagles' two Greatest Hits releases (and the amount of familiarity many people have with many of their hit songs) it would appear rather obvious that there are plenty of people who would choose them as the 'quintessential greatest hits band'.
  17. I'll fix itlater.
  18. Alot of people might pick the Eagles for this distinction.
  19. I'd vote Bledsoe in.
  20. How is Green Bay playing at St Louis possibly considered 'easy'?
  21. Pegasus-lite Gimmick 2006-2007.
  22. Sounds about right. Theyir show at Bonnaroo last year (presumably the same as everything else on their tour) sounded pretty much like a 2 disc hits compilation straight from the stereo. With the exception of Stevie Nicks' appearance for a handul of songs anyway. I'm sure everyone knows at least a few of the hits.
  23. A very important writer. According to Fox News he wrote 'Catcher in the Rye'. Yeesh.
  24. And 16,000 tonight after people, not learning anything, thought sales would drop off into Marlins numbers after the first game.
  25. Decent ep, a few laughs, but I'll agree with Slayer that it was the weakest of the new batch.
