Blame the radio/tv stations for that, not the genre.

If you only listen to pop-rap (radio, Mtv) than the negative rap is about all you can here. But the majority of hiphop doesnt get that kind of exposure and, if you simply choose to listen to it instead, you wont hear much 'negative' stuff at all.

Those lobbies & the politicians needing to admit they were wrong are definitly the two biggest it may/will never be reformed, no matter how many doctors and law enforcement people say it should.

No, tobacco sales is not among my jobs. I don't personally smoke either tobbacco or marijuana anymore, I just don't think it should be an aspect of govt to dictate that one of them can't be used. The facts of marijuana's benefits vs. tobacco weighs heavily on this opinion. You might be surprised by how many doctors agree with me as well.

I attend college and make ends meet with a couple part-time jobs. During the summer I work at a local factory.

I'm not advocating the legalization of cocaine or the like. One of the biggest upsides of marijuana reform would be a certain reduction in the amount of prescriptions for the highly addictive, body-decaying Oxycontins and other legal heroin pills. But, the most focused on 'drug' is marijuana and, again, if that money weren't being squandered on it then it could be used for far better things.

Yeah, season over and such.
