I really dig VR's new album. Obviously not on the levels I love Guns N' Roses, but it sure as hell delivered more than I thought it could. The main fault of the whole project is Slash's big mouth. He said that 'Fall To Pieces' was VR's answer to November Rain. He might as well have told everyone "Hey, you're going to be disappointed" right then and there. Other than that, Slash's guitar work is still really awesome and you can tell that he contributed a lot to the overall production of Contraband just by listening to it. Not exactly Appetite For Destruction, but who the fuck expected it to be? UYI

Buckethead is the fuckin' king. No-one who has ever seen the man play would ever say anything bad about him. Alas, Slash he is not. In fact, on Slash's official website it says that Slash is willing to return to GNR the second Axl decides to make a rock record and wants to include him. Slash has no interest in industrial music or whatever other shit Axl is playing around with. Weird he stated that though, considering all the stuff Axl has played live (i.e. Madagascar and The Blues) are all tunes Slash would have fitted into perfectly. If Axl still has beef with him, then I have no clue as to why. UYI

That's a matter of opinion. Most of the "Axlites" will defend that song to the death. Me? I just play it to annoy people. It has a sweet line in it though, plus it's a pretty bizarre fucking end to something great. Bit like Axl himself, really. UYI
