I liked the match too, but it's easily nowhere near ****1/2 though. I would say like ***1/4 at the highest...... Considering one of them had a all but broken back, and the other's neck was so screwed that they were probably legally disabled, they pulled off a fucking unreal match. I was literally on the edge of my seat the whole time. Being a huge HBK mark, I of course wanted Shawn to win, and I think I'm about the only one who did. UYI

Rumours are flying around the internet that Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike will be bundled with Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition. This is pure rumour though, and hasn't been confirmed by CAPCOM. I first saw mention of this over at Fighter's Generation, an *awesome* site full of all sorts of goodies. Also, Sakura, don't forget that Pit Fighter will also be making an appearance in the Midway Arcade Treasures game. UYI

I'd like you to point to where I said Triple H was soley responsible for the ratings jump. Yes, Triple H-related main events over the past year haven't exactly set the world on fire, but not much has lately in the land of WWE. UYI

To be honest, Sakura, I found it almost impossible in the latter MK games, espicially MK3 & UMK3, to actually get in and perform a throw. The computer was just so insanely quick that throwing was just not an option for me. UYI

Fatal Fury 1 may be old school, but that didn't stop me from playing it almost every day when I was a kid. It's much more fun when you have someone to play with you, as you can rip it up as the other characters, including Geese Howard via a little trick that escapes my mind at present. Geese and Terry were always my faves, and remain so to this day. UYI

The storylines are interesting? Benoit as champ. Benoit and HBK teaming against Evolution. Benjamin making moves. Yeah, I'm interested. I've been called just about every name you can think of, thanks to my ability to destroy my friends/family at every fighting game I own, which happens to be a lot. Thing is, I've never been one to spend hours and hours playing games non-stop. I only play video games when I've got nothing else that I should be doing, be that University related or other day-to-day activities. Despite that, all time I do spend on video games is on (at the moment) either Tekken Tag Tournament, Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution or Mortal Kombat:Deadly Alliance, and I'm pretty much unbeatable at those, as they're the only games I bother to play. 'Fuckwit', 'cocksucker', 'you're controller is busted, you bastard', 'fuck this, you're cheating' and 'Okay, now I'm going to start trying' are just some of the gems I've had thrown at me after beating numerous challengers. UYI

The screenshots don't look particularly awful, but SNK's last trip into 3D land wasn't exactly an eventful one, and I have no desire to see them try again. It's what you do with what you have that counts. Stick to 2D, kids. UYI

We've had threads dedicated to silly quotes from JR, McMahon, Lawler and a host of others. Nothing wrong with a Schiavone thread. I could've sworn there was a worst commentator line somewhere in the first post or topic...I guess I'm senile. Edit: I was right! It's in the sub-title thing-a-ma-jig. Okay, maybe he's not the WORST ever...Vince was bad at times, Coachman is awful... At least Vince hyped his product as though it was worth watching. Tony was out-right rude on many, many occasions to fans and spent several matches, that featured fantastic wrestling action, talking about Hulk Hogan or Sting. And the Coach isn't awful at all, he's just average. Nothing special, but he does the job. UYI
