Well, I'll have all my segments in by the morning. Who do I send them to?

The final moments of the Quatamn Leap series finale. Not just because it was over, but because it didn't have the original ending. Spoiler (Highlight to Read): We never got to see what happened after Sam told Al's wife that he was alive. All you saw was a picture of Al turn blue then the screen turned black and a redited scene took place where you found out "Dr. Sam Beckett never returned home." then a picture of Sam and Al, then fade out. I really wish that the original ending for the episode could be released to the public. Maybe on a special editon DVD of the show or something like that. It was disappointing, IMO. I just wish the show was brought back and so we could see what happened next and that the show could go off with the proper ending (Sam Beckett returning home). The last scene of The Wonder Years series finale where Kevin Arnold lets us know what happens to all the main characters while sad music plays in the background. The music is what gets to me the most. I don't know why, but just thinking about the music after the episode was over, made me cry. That and when you hear Kevin's son ask if he wants to play catch and Kevin answers with "I'll be right there." That got me also. Believe it or not, I didn't actually cry watching the Mystery Science Theater 3000 series finale. That's probalby due to me becoming a fan just last year and thus, I didn't get attached to the show and was a loyal fan for 10 years like many fans of the show. But I did become misty eyed during the final scene with Mike & The Bots still watching bad movies in an apartment. I did cry, but I didn't actually start to cry until after the episode ended, when I relize that MST3K was the best show I ever saw, but that it was no longer in production and there was a slim chance it would ever return. And that, I hadn't recorded every single episode of the show. That hit me hard and made me ill. I've also broke down and cried when watching an episode of Captain Planet where one of the kids lands in a world filled with rat people. The whole point of the episode was to teach about the dangers of overpopulating the planet. Turns out the rat planet is just a dream, but I felt so bad for the rat people that I started to cry. The lead rat man appears in spirit during the final scene to warn us about not overpopulating Earth, and I still have no idea why, I began to cry again! I cried after the series finale of Doug. For 5 hours. Straight. Yet, I had the episode on tape, and watched it about 15 times in 5 hours rewinding the final scene over and over again even though that was the scene that made me cry. I still remember the last line. Doug: "So long, everybody. It's been fun! You're friend forever, Doug." THAT line got to me and thus the crying for 5 straight hours. I just couldn't believe the show was over after 8 years. I've also cried during the final scenes of The Sandlot. And I cried during the final scene of Field of Dreams. I was actually misty eyed through the whole film. The whole father/son relationship shown in the film got to me. But it was Kevin Costner's line of "Hey dad, wanna play catch?" that triggered the flat out crying. I still get choked up whenever I even think about that scene.

Which Enemy of the Christian Church Are You?
Ed Wood Caulfield replied to Yuna_Firerose's topic in General Chat
I got nothing. I consider myself an agnostic, but this sounds just about right. -
The black and hispanics who were hip-hop fans in my school were the most irritating. They refused to listen to anything else because it was, and I quote, "White People Music." If there is a worst exscue than that, I'd like to hear it. Seriously, they didn't even like Eminem JUST BECAUSE he was white. That was the exact answer I got when I asked them why they didn't like Eminem. I used to get perscuated because I listened to rock, and not just hip-hop, and they called me "White Boy" because of it, as though that is the worst thing a spanish or black person can be called. Here is a typical conversation with my best friend: Me: Did you hear that Red Hot Chili Peppers song? Friend: What's the Red Hot Chili Peppers? Me: They're a Rock group. Friend: That explains why I haven't heard of them. I don't listen to rock. Me: How come? Friend: Cause that's white people music. I can't be listening to rock music because I'm not white, I'm Spanish. And another thing that I hated was that they accepted mainstream hip-hop as being the ONLY Hip-Hop avaible! They refused to listen to any old school artists and they were completely oblviouious to any hip-hop that wasn't shown on MTV or BET. THEY LIKED JA-RULE FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! And if you weren't talking about being a thug, bling-bling, bitches, or guns, you weren't hip-hop. I guess Public Enemy, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, and Wyclef Sean aren't real hip-hop then, since they have social commentary in some of their songs. Another reason why I'm glad I'm away from that school now.

And I play "MMMBop" by Hanson about 1,000 times a day mostly because it reminds me of one of the funniest MST3K riffs: (A blonde hair boy who looks like a girl, and therefore looks like a member of Hanson, runs out of a cave in slow motion.) Tom Servo(In A Slow-Motion Voice): MMMMMMMMMBOPPPPP!!!! When I heard that, I burst out laughing. I also like "MMMBop" because it reminds me of some pretty cool times I had in my life back in 1997. And I don't actually think Quarashi are bad. I play "Mr. Jinx" about 1,000 times a day. And "Stick 'Em Up" and "Baseline" are good too. And Gorillaz were alright. "Clint Eastwood", "Tommorrow Comes Today", "Left Hand Suzuki Method", "M1 A1", "Punk", "Starshine", "Rock The House", and "Re-Hash" are all good songs.

LPYC, I'm not going to have PRL's segments in by midnight. You may just have to post the show without my segments. Would it be okay if you edited my segments in later on? Or should I just save them for next week?
-
I still like all of the Attitude stuff from 1998/1999. Not exactly for the actual shows, but because that era is a very special era for me and I look back on those shows with nostaglia because it was a great time in my life.
-
I'll have it in by Midnight tonight.
-
Do I still have time to send my stuff in or is it too late?

Is there anyone else on this board that watches the show IMX on Fuse? I know that Fuse isn't avaible to everyone, but I'm sure some cable companies where you live carry it. It's on every Monday-Friday at 6p.m. and it's live. I've tried on several occasions to appear on the show, but haven't had any luck. It's alot like TRL on MTV, except that they play rock videos and the countdowns vary from the Top 5 to the Top 7 to the Top 2. They usually have pop/punk rockers as guess. I don't give a crap about the actual music played on the show. I usually just watch it for Marianela who is one of the hosts on the show. She is just so damn hot with a great ass. The show has 4 hosts who rotate in 2s and the hosts actually have distnict personalties and musical tastes so that you can tell them apart unlike those 4 people that host TRL. There's Marianela, who's a hot latina chick and is into Rap/R&B/Top 40 music. There's Dennis Da Menace, who's into rap/hip-hop and is a rapper himself. Then there's Steven who's a geeky white guy and is into indy rock/classic rock. And finally, there's Juliya C. who's this goth chick who's a bisexual and into heavy metal (she's also got her own heavy metal show on Fuse called Uranium). Juliya is the person who is suppose to represent Fuse like Carson Daly is suppose to represent MTV. It's an alright show. Like I said, I only watch it just to oogle Marianela, but if you're into pop/punk or Indy rock then you'll like this show as they give those guys alot of exposure and promote their music. They don't play any pop or R&B music on the show but they play some hip-hop once in a while. I also like it whenever Juliya C. and Marianela host the show together since Juliya always teases lesbian sex with Marianela. She licks her ear. Sits on her. Bites Marianelas ass. I also like it whenever the camera does a quick closeup shot on Marianela's ass. The show is based on a game at Fuse.com called Interactive Music Exchange (IMX). You trade stocks of your favorite music artists depending on how popular the artist is. If your artist is popular, you get "IMX Bucks" which you can use to buy real life stuff like snowboards, MP3 Players, and a N64. You also can watch IMX to get extra IMX bucks by playing games that sometime appear on the show. For more info on the show you can check out http://www.fuse.tv Does anyone play the IMX game or watch the show?

About a year and a half ago, I made a thread in this folder about my (then new-found) love for Mystery Science Theater 3000. Well, now I have another show that I absolutely love called Family Guy. I have never laughed so hard in such a long time as I have watching this show. Literally, every second there is something to laugh at. All the characters are funny but I really like Peter and Stewie Griffin. I also love when the show cuts to a really funny flashback. I've only been watching the show for 2 weeks on Cartoon Network and I already am taping shows and watching them over and over again. The Simpsons haven't made me laugh out laugh in years, yet this show does so with every episode. I cannot believe Fox would cancel this great show. It's truly excellence and very entertaining. It's on every Monday-Thursday at 11 or 11:30 on Cartoon Network. My favorite episode so far is the one where Peter goes to the Beer Brewery. I loved the whole Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory parody. My favorite scene is when Peter trips on the sidewalk and spends a good minute groaning repeating the same sound over and over again. I was rolling on the floor when I saw that part. So, post your comments on the show in this thread. Also post your favorite scenes and any information on why Fox cancelled the show. And any episodes I should see.

House of Buggin' I remember also. Poor John Leguiazamo(sp?). That show went through one hiatus too many. It was on the air from December 1994-January 1995, then went on a break and came back in March 1995, THEN went on ANOTHER break and came back in July 1995 before being cancelled after 2 weeks in July 1995. I remember every show would begin with him dancing then coming out to introduce the show. I remember some skits that had me laughing out loud. There was one in which he was a perverted priest....who hit on adult women including the Virgin Mary who appeared to him. There was also a recurring character he had on the show that was Japaneese and was the host of a latenight show but had horrible guests. My favorite skit from the show was when he played the lost member of the Village People, the Knight in Shining Armor. And a monologue from the show in which the annoucer kept misprouncing his last night. And another where an annoucer tried to translate what he was saying. I feel bad that his show was cancelled as I think John Leguazamo is funny. Oh well. Atleast he is still doing work and has had 2 HBO Comedy Specials which were VERY funny, IMHO. And the star of Carlos from FOX was on that show also.

I remember both shows rather well. I actually liked The Newz better than SNL (then again, The Newz was on the air during the lame 1994-95 season, so you can understand why I liked The Newz better). It used to air in New York every Monday-Saturday at 11:30 on what is now UPN. I remember thinking that one of the castmembers was The Undertaker without his makeup (he had long hair and a goatee hence my assumption). I hardly remember any of the sketches except for one where these girls dressed like Elvis Presley to escape their dates and another in which a man sunbathed so much that he turned into an African-American. I also had a crush on one of the women on the show (I forget her name). I think it aired from October 1994-March 1995. I still remember the theme song. It was pretty catchy. The show just disappeared from the air. I was sad that it ended. I looked forward to watching it every weekday especially Friday nights. "It's The Newz. Starring Shawn Alex Thompson!" She TV I also remember watching. That was the one where the cast were all women. I think Joel Hodgson from Mystery Science Theater 3000 was one of the writers on the show (or was that the Paula Poundstone Show). I remember a sketch in which they parodied NYPD: Blue and another where a woman imitidated Fabio. That's all I remember. The only other memory I have of the show is reading the newspaper and finding out it was cancelled.

Can you change my screename to THE #1 MST3K MARK? -
I'll send you PRL's segments for this week's show sometime tonight.
-
I wasn't able to do it this week so I'll try it next week: -Puerto Rican Lightning introduces the newest member of the Lightning Crew. The man who helped him beat Blurricane at World Without End. -PRL speaks on being the #1 Ranking in the Intense 5 Ranking System. -OaOasT North American & Puerto Rican Championship Match: Puerto Rican Lightning vs. A jobber from Puerto Rico.

I'm not a Mets fan, but I was rooting for the Mets to win the 2000 National League Pennant so that a Yanks/Mets Subway Series would happen. I can now say that I have seen a New York vs. New York World Series even though I know that a Mets/Yankees Subway Series isn't the same as the Yankees/Brooklyn Dodgers or Yankees/New York Giants Subway Series back in the 1940s and 1950s. Plus, unlike the Dodgers and Giants, the Mets didn't return to the World Series for the next three years and have been terrible.

-Puerto Rican Lightning introduces the newest member of the Lightning Crew. -PRL victory speech. -OaOasT North American Title Match: Puerto Rican Lightning vs. one of Puerto Rico's best wrestlers (I'll make one up. And I'll write the match.)

The NA Title match has been sent!!!
-
What if Ted Weddy were to take on Colombian Heat? How about that instead?
-
Looks like I lied also. I'll have the NA Title Match in by either 4 or 5 this afternoon. I PROMISE.
