Comments which don't warrant a thread.

The Adventures of Teencandenza! I'm insulted. I was never so stupid as to be sold fake weed. -
Jon, you know we're bros, but I don't look to you for book recs.

Boxing Day isn't celebrated in the states and is largely unheard of outside of regular readers of For Better or For Worse. Also, Americans like specific days to celebrate/start things, so why not the day after Thanksgiving to kick off the holiday shopping season?

Panera has good broccoli cheddar soup, but the sandwiches are only okay. Their breakfast is pretty lousy.

Man, I hate Patti Smith. What a cunt.

To be fair, I never saw what sure-to-be-hilarious picture you meant to post, you bandwidth-stealing douche nozzle.

That W&P is a brand new translation in a nice-looking hardcover. It lists for $37, so I'm already getting a deal on it. Also, for personal preference, getting it in hardcover was important, too. Books that size don't physically hold together as well in paperback.

Every post in this thread is terrible, be the intent genuine or sarcastic.

What's great is you can see no one's downloading any of these songs.

I recently ordered, from Amazon, the following: $35.30 w/ free shipping. I decided I needed to get serious about the Russian masters.

I'm probably gonna name my next dog Van Veen or something. -
Not up to their debut, granted, but I always liked The W.

It's a shame that every Dump album except for the most recent one is out of print. I'm almost tempted to ebay my copies of A Plea for Tenderness, I Can Hear the Music and That Skinny Motherfucker with the High Voice for $$$, but I like them all too much.
-
Fuck you. Did you get that Dump album I uploaded? I was gonna do I Can Hear the Music, too, but I had little trouble finding that one on soulseek, so you have no excuses.
-
Cool, though megaupload licks my sack. I'll come back in 292 minutes for that next download, guys!

You all should have your dogs taken away from you. Actually, Werner Herzdog is good. -
Can someone upload one or both of these?

Do you have a close relationship with your family?
Giuseppe Zangara replied to Epic Reine's topic in General Chat
I haven't spoken to anyone in my family, outside of my mother and sister, in nearly a decade. My mother's relatives are largely Baptist hicks for whom I feel little familial love. My grandfather's nice enough, I suppose, but I can't say I'll be moved when he dies. I certainly wasn't when my grandmother died. Then there's my father's side of the family, which effectively removed itself from my life when my father disappeared over fifteen years ago. My father died over two years ago, which served to sever the severely frayed ties I had left. -
My roommate is an avid homebrewer, and I know he'd tell you to stay away from any store bought kit. The best beer you can make involves going out to a homebrew shop and purchasing the equipment yourself. I'd have him post here and say more, but that'd require revealing to him that I, well, post here. EDIT: This provides a good, basic overview.
