  1. I loved this movie. Will probably see it again before the weekend's out.
  2. I'm probably gonna name my next dog Van Veen or something.
  3. Not up to their debut, granted, but I always liked The W.
  4. It's a shame that every Dump album except for the most recent one is out of print. I'm almost tempted to ebay my copies of A Plea for Tenderness, I Can Hear the Music and That Skinny Motherfucker with the High Voice for $$$, but I like them all too much.
  5. Fuck you. Did you get that Dump album I uploaded? I was gonna do I Can Hear the Music, too, but I had little trouble finding that one on soulseek, so you have no excuses.
  6. Cool, though megaupload licks my sack. I'll come back in 292 minutes for that next download, guys!
  7. You all should have your dogs taken away from you. Actually, Werner Herzdog is good.
  8. Can someone upload one or both of these?
  9. I haven't spoken to anyone in my family, outside of my mother and sister, in nearly a decade. My mother's relatives are largely Baptist hicks for whom I feel little familial love. My grandfather's nice enough, I suppose, but I can't say I'll be moved when he dies. I certainly wasn't when my grandmother died. Then there's my father's side of the family, which effectively removed itself from my life when my father disappeared over fifteen years ago. My father died over two years ago, which served to sever the severely frayed ties I had left.
  10. My roommate is an avid homebrewer, and I know he'd tell you to stay away from any store bought kit. The best beer you can make involves going out to a homebrew shop and purchasing the equipment yourself. I'd have him post here and say more, but that'd require revealing to him that I, well, post here. EDIT: This provides a good, basic overview.
  11. I stand by the first post.

hahahahahahahalololol Hey, Street Teamer who started this thread, go be a hero and put a bullet in Tom DeLonge's head.
  13. Not that it was a secret, but really, Rondo: http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y90/czechrepublicTCR/wallaby.jpg
  14. Oh, I hope the film version of Blood Meridian that Ridley Scott is set to direct stays in development hell. The book is great, but I can't imagine a good movie being made out of it. Especially by Ridley Scott.
  15. I saw a guy fall of his skateboard once. I laughed and laughed.
  16. Now I'd switch around For Your Pleasure and Stranded. Other than that, the list stays the same.
  17. The Collected Bertil Olsson: http://forums.thesmartmarks.com/index.php?...sult_type=posts Why wasn't I that funny all the time? The one about Belgium's neutrality in WWII made me laugh very loudly.
  18. I stand by every single thing I said in that thread.
  19. Compared to their contemporaries, yes, STP were tolerable, but I don't think the purpose of the thread was to argue that a great American rock song could only be considered within the realm of popular rock radio. I suppose the use of "American" may connotate something big, which, in turn, can be popular. Is that what you're thinking? That the use of "American" must mean it has to be a grand statement, and not simply a descriptor of the song's origin?
  20. For comparison, when I was 13, I thought the following albums were masterpieces: Truth and Soul The Reality of My Surroundings American Must be Destroyed Gretchen Goes to Nebraska I suppose you could argue that STP were simply better than Fishbone, Gwar and King's X, but I can't buy any argument in favor of any of them.
  21. Sensei John Kreese, remember when I turned you on to Tom Cochrane?
  22. I was the right age to be a Stone Temple Pilots fan back when they were first an ongoing concern, but I couldn't stand them. With that in mind, wtf Kinetic and Blak.
  23. Wal Mart is the only place where you should be able to buy Eagles records.
